Hello, we have for sale a very nice 1973 jaguar e type 2+2. This car is mechanically very sound with several new and rebuilt parts, showing just over 105k miles it runs and drives beautifully. The interior is in overall nice condition with a nicely refinished Nardi Torino steering wheel, custom speaker box with lighted jaguar logo and new head liner. The drivetrain is very solid with the numbers matching engine and trans, rebuilt rear end, with locking differential, wire wheels and freshly rebuilt steering rack. The engine has just been serviced, and tuned up, the ignition has been upgraded from the factory lucas system to the much more reliable crane cams optical trigger system. The body is for the most part very strait, there are only a few minor cosmetic rust spots, and dents, however there are quite a few chips in the paint and the paint on the front half of the car has some light oxidation as these parts of the car had been repainted long ago, a little buffing and it shines up nice. This is still a very beautiful and fun car, that is a great daily driver or great candidate for restoration. any questions please ask, buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and arrangements.paypal or cash in person, $500 paypal deposit required at purchase. Thanks

Jaguar is set to reveal the C-X17 concept crossover in just a few short moments. The show starts at 11:00 AM EST, which is supper time in Frankfurt where the reveal is taking place. It's almost lunch time here on the East Coast of the US, so enjoy your sammy and a bag of chips while you sit back and watch Jaguar show us all some new technology and possibly an entirely new direction for the brand. Our own article on the Jaguar C-X17 concept will go live on Autoblog at 11:30 AM EST, and stay tuned for own live images of the crossover concept tomorrow from the show floor.

Just a week after teasing us with the first image of the car, and mere hours before revealing it to the public at the New York Auto Show, Jaguar has pulled the wraps off of its 2014 XJR super sedan.
Tue, 19 Nov 2013 14:58:00 EST
The British automaker has confirmed that the XJR will be kicking out a full 550-horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque from its supercharged 5.0-liter V8, affording the sedan a 0-60 mile per hour sprint of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 174 miles per hour. A ZF eight-speed automatic transmission will still allow for respectable fuel economy, as Jag estimates ratings of 15 miles per gallon city and 23 highway.
Newly tuned dampers and stiffer spring rates, along with an electronically controlled differential should ensure that the massive power of the engine isn't wasted in transition to the road. Jaguar has also tweaked steering software and hydraulics, with the goal of increased road feel, response and overall feedback. 20-inch signature wheels carry wide Pirelli rubber (265-section up front, 295 in back) to keep the XJR planted.
Forget Tawny Kitaen. If you want to make a Jaguar XJ rock, just do what this guy did: stuff a heavily modified and turbocharged General Motors V8 under the hood, and take it to the track.
The video calls this Series 1 XJ a sleeper, but with its open exhaust and obvious turbo whistle, the once-gentlemanly sedan is anything but. The owner says that the engine is GM LQ9 V8 that has been stroked to 402 cubic inches putting out around 720 horsepower with 12 pounds of boost (in standard form, this 6.0-liter V8 was used in the second-gen Cadillac Escalade). Check out the video below to see what that kind of power does for this classic Jaguar in the eighth-mile.
