I'm pleased to offer for sale this exceptional example of a very original, unrestored E type OTS. The car is full matching numbers and has covered 53.000 miles from new. Colour combination is one of the most desirable: opalescent silver blue with blue leather interior. Bodywork is straight and totally rust-free, never welded and still wearing the original factory paint inside the bonnet and the bood, in the A and B posts and underside. Outside has just been professionally resprayed using an acrylic base and cellulose finishing coat, as for factory specifications. Paint is very period-looking, slightly shadowed and not too bright. There's absolutely no thickness, all the factory welding points are still visible. Interior is fully original including the carpets and is still in great shape although showing a lovely patina. For the connoisseurs, there are still the plastic fixings on the floor carpets, undelfelt set is still the original and intact, and there's even the passenger's footrest that's a rare factory option. Mechanic is in good health as you would expect from a 53.000 miles car, with the advantage of a full overhaul just carried out on suspensions, brakes, clutch and steering following a long period of storage. The car is supplied with full books set in the original case, original soft-top cover and a period hard-top.

Jaguar XFR-S is motor-porn on a mountain road
Tue, 04 Dec 2012The 2014 Jaguar XFR-S might have only been good enough to take the runner-up spot in our Editor's Choice top five debuts at the LA Auto Show, but we'd be hard-pressed to find a car with a more exhilarating exhaust note. As proof of this, Jaguar released a video showing the XFR-S tearing up a windy, European mountain road in close to a minute of hardcore driving footage.
The big blue cat has the same great exhaust note of the XKR-S, and the driver puts all of the car's 550 horsepower to work demonstrating the handling - and drifting - abilities of the new XFR-S. If there's any disappointment to be had, it's the fact that you have to jump to the 30-second mark of the video for any of the action to start.
Scroll down to watch the video, and be sure your speakers are turned all the way up.
Latest Jaguar XJ snaps show old versus new
Wed, 19 Mar 2014It is a rare day when automakers line up their current models and test cars right next to each other and allow us to compare them directly. However, Jaguar ending up doing just that during cold weather testing of the face lifted XJ, providing the perfect chance to see just what the company is changing.
We spotted the refreshed XJ testing last year, and it hasn't evolved much since then. The updated model sports clear turn signals and a slightly revised front air dam. The modifications are similarly minor at the rear. The bumper appears to dip down slightly further on the new sedan. Thankfully, those gorgeous taillights are still draped over the back of the car. The exhaust outlets have switched to oval shapes rather than the current parallelograms. This alteration could just be chalked up to it being a test car, but the previous tester we saw had a similar design. It's possible that the camouflage could be hiding other revisions, but don't expect anything radical from the facelift.
Our previous report indicated that Jaguar is also planning some interior upgrades with new infotainment and ambient lighting. The company seems to feel that there isn't a point in messing with the XJ's design just yet, since all of the changes we see here are very subtle. No problems, here - to our eyes, the big Jag is still one of the prettier sedans on the road today.
2016 Jaguar XE is ready to stalk the competition
Mon, 08 Sep 2014
The XE wears some of the best styling elements from Jaguar's current litter.
Big sedans and sports cars. Jaguar has been known for those two things since the company's name was birthed in 1945. Stylish saloons like the Mark 2 and performance machines like the E-Type make up the brand's heritage, but the compact sedan market is one where the British marque has lacked great product.
