I will update the pics soon. This is a very custom truck.  I had the side vents custom made, looks much better than the big chrome factory crap.  I added the top of the line JL Audio 13.5 in factory box with the biggest amp from JL the 1200W.  The custom 4 camera system records the inside of the cab so that you can watch to see if a valet person went through your stuff in the console or glove box.  It also has 2 cameras in the front grill the will capture any accident in close and far away views.  There is a 120GB hard drive so it records for up to a week, I put the biggest Stinger battery $750 to power the DVR and the JL equipment so it doesn't fade the lights when the bass hits.  I also added the stinger drycell battery in the front because it is better to have matching dry cell batteries.  The final camera is rotatable so that you can move it 180deg to get a cop if he pulls you over or something.

The window film is the Viper security so it would take someone about 10min to smash in the window before they make a hole.  I also added the module so you can watch the DVD while you drive and also program the GPS, that was $400 installed.  The Escort 9500ci has the Escort live added so its as radar/laser proof as can be.

This is a one of a kind truck with no expense spared, I have over $20,000 of extras in this truck.  It has all new tires and I have all the parts that were removed for the custom installed things if you ever wanted to go back factory.  I have babied this truck from Day one, I am the 2nd owner, it was a executive of a big biotech in NC before me and he only put 20,000mi on it.  The factory warranty lasts until 60,000mi so your covered for anything.  I always took it to the dealer and they maintained  it, including the cabin filter and the brake fluid were just replaced.

If you want a nice custom truck this is your best bet.

Infiniti Q30 prototype has entry-level luxury in the bag

Mon, 10 Nov 2014

The Infiniti Q30 Concept signaled the Japanese brand's clear intentions to join the growing global compact premium segment. Now, as evidenced by these images, we can see development of the brand's first compact hatchback is proceeding apace.
Our spies point to the similarity between this camouflaged tester and the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class as further evidence to the cars' shared platform, although we'll admit, we don't necessarily see the similarities. The Q30's overall look, to our eyes, is like a scaled-down, lower-riding QX50, the model previously known as EX. Infiniti design elements, like its squat greenhouse, long hood and double-arch grille are all visible.
The Mercedes-Benz connection should be clearer under the hood, though, as the Q30 is expected to be powered by the same 2.0-liter, turbocharged Mercedes four-pot that's been leading the charge throughout the brand's entry-level models, namely the CLA-, GLA- and C-Class.

Watch Formula Drift's Chris Forsberg break in a new warehouse

Tue, 25 Mar 2014

Here are just a few great drift cars: Toyota AE86, Mazda RX-7, Nissan Z, Nissan Silvia, and Ford Mustang. One vehicle you won't find on that list, however, is the Infiniti M, because it's a big, heavy luxury car.
It's comfortable, spacious and better to drive than you might expect. And yet, even though it was possible to get one with a very nice 335-horsepower, 4.5-liter V8, it wouldn't be the first car we'd gut and take drifting in an empty warehouse. Formula Drift driver Chris Forsberg didn't get our memo, evidently, which is why we have this video of him flinging a big, white Infiniti through an empty building.
It's an entertaining video, if only because using an M as a drift car is just such a ludicrous sight. Scroll down to watch the entire clip.

2014 Infiniti Q50S

Mon, 03 Feb 2014

Ten years ago, nearly to the day, I took delivery of a brand-new 2004 Infiniti G35 6MT. The sporty rear-wheel drive sedan, equipped with its throaty 260-horsepower V6, slick manual gearbox and limited-slip differential replaced my 2001 BMW 330i because the Japanese competitor touted a product that was roomier, better equipped, quicker and lower priced. The G35 trumped the German in nearly every measurable category - at least on paper.
The 2014 Infiniti Q50 is the direct descendant, albeit two generations later, of the car I owned a decade ago. It is dimensionally about the same size, but it has gained more than 300 pounds of mass thanks to numerous safety upgrades and technical innovations. The additional weight is largely dismissed by a larger and more efficient powerplant that delivers an additional 68 horsepower, a welcome arrival, but the manual gearbox that charmed enthusiasts has been pushed out of the picture by a mandatory seven-speed automatic transmission.
As it has in the past, Infiniti touts its all-new Q50 as a luxury sport sedan worthy of the title. Decades ago, impressive performance statistics may have sealed the deal. Yet there is much more to the assignment today, as the model must offer premium appointments, sophistication and engaging driving dynamics if it's going to entice and capture the next-generation of young, premium buyers - much like the G35 did for me ten years ago.
