Up for sale is a Garnet Red 2008 Infinity G35X sedan.  We are the 2nd owners and have owned the car for the past 4 years.  This has been a GREAT car for us but my wife needs something larger for our growing family.  The car currently has just under 69,000 miles on it and it is driven daily.  We have the title in hand and it is clean and clear no no liens.  The price is 13,500 which is very fair and FIRM.   We will be trading the car into the dealer in a week or so if this does not sell privately.  This car provide fun, reliable transportation for years to come.  I will provide the best description to my ability of the car below to save us both time. :)

Features: The car is fully loaded as it was available from the factory.  This includes black leather interior, power everything (seats, mirrors, windows, sunroof), keyless ignition, bluetooth/phone integration, heated seats, Navigation, AWD, Hard disk drive, ipod control/integration, memory seats, and many other great standard features.  We have both original key fob remotes for the car.

Mechanical: The car is up to date with all regular maintenance and needs nothing. Mobil 1 oil used.  PA inspection through 02/2015.  Tires/brakes in nice shape.  There are no observed leaks, no engine service codes, etc.  It runs and drives great.

Exterior: The red paint is glossy, uniform, and overall in very nice condition.  The car has been washed and cared for regularly.  There are some scratches on the lower part of the rear bumper, a light scratch on the trunk lid, some scratches on the right side of the front bumper, and some rock chips on the front hood/bumper from regular driving.  Overall in very nice condition but this should give you a good idea of overall exterior:  In the interest of the full disclosure, the prior owner allegedly was involved in an accident (about 4 years ago) involving the back right side of the vehicle. All with the car is great and was repaired professionally at that time.  It drives straight and true with no issues but it is worth noting.

Interior:  The black leather interior (and carpet) is in excellent condition with no rips, tears or stains.  There is some chipping on the small plastic panel on the drivers side window switch panel from the prior owner.  There is also some chipping by the steering wheel controls from the prior owner - this was likely from holding keys/rings while driving.

The car is priced to MOVE! Please only serious inquries only.  Call, email or text no problem.  Available most nights and weekends for showing.

Pebble Beach Concept Car Lawn adds class to the grass

Sun, 17 Aug 2014

While Pebble Beach is traditionally thought of as the refuge of the pristine and pricey vintage vehicles of the world, there's no shortage of newer vehicles on display. And when we say "new," we mean really new. As in, not even in production new. This is the concept car lawn, and it's home to an eclectic group of vehicles from past and present.
Of course, calling it the "concept car lawn" is a bit of a misnomer this year (as it has been in previous years, too). Production models like the Alfa Romeo 4C were on display, alongside known quantities like the Hennessy Venom GT and modified versions of already-on-sale models, like the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Waterspeed Collection.
There were a few concepts on display, though. Toyota debuted the critically acclaimed FT-1 Concept in a new shade, while BMW's Beijing Motor Show stunner, the Vision Future Luxury, was also parked on the expensive grass. Also appearing were the Nissan GT-R in sheep's clothing, the Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge, and the recently debuted McLaren P1 GTR.

Infiniti takes to Facebook to explain model names, mentions 550-hp flagship

Wed, 19 Dec 2012

Infiniti caused quite a stir this week when it announced that it would be changing its vehicle names so that all of its cars start with Q and all of its crossovers and SUVs start with QX. Many displeased fans and owners took to social media to voice their opinions, and Johan de Nysschen, the new Infiniti boss, responded today with a Facebook post of his own.
In the note, de Nysschen talks about the challenge of product expansions with alphanumeric names that allow for flexibility without encroaching on the trademarked names of other automakers, although we're sure de Nysschen's former colleagues at Audi aren't looking forward to a Q30 or Q50. He also says that as Infiniti grows to become a global brand, the new naming structure - which closely mimics Volvo - is also designed to reduce confusion (just don't tell that to current owners). One thing that de Nysschen assured wouldn't happen is a confusing "X" added to the end of all-wheel-drive model names that would result in names like the Q60X or, even worse, the QX50X.
While we are not looking forward to relearning Infiniti's product lineup, de Nysschen has given us something to look forward to courtesy of a new performance sedan. From the brief explanation of this car, which was used as a key example in explaining the validity of the new names, we learned that the new model will be a performance version of what is now the M sedan, and it will be powered by a "charged induction" 3.0-liter V6 producing more than 550 horsepower. The M's name will become the Q70, but as of right now, it isn't clear if this will be an IPL model or something else.

Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge gets the heart of a GT-R [w/video]

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

There has been ongoing talk of an Infiniti using the Nissan GT-R powertrain practically since the moment the Nissan's flagship sports coupe hit the road. While the rumors have gone back and forth over the years, they have never completely gone away. It seems Infiniti is finally turning an ear to the screams of its most vocal enthusiasts with an updated version of the Q50 Eau Rouge concept boasting a modified version of Godzilla's engine and all-wheel drive system debuting at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. It's even taking things a step further and granting it a new, seven-speed transmission to replace the Nissan's six-speed.
The latest evolution of the Eau Rouge packs the same 3.8-liter, twin turbocharged V6 found in the GT-R but with a unique tune of 560 horsepower and 443 pound-feet (600 Newton-meters) of torque. That makes it 15 hp more powerful than the standard 2015 GT-R but gives up 20 lb-ft of torque. Power gets to the ground through the GT-R's all-wheel-drive system. Infiniti predicts that the Eau Rouge would sprint to 60 miles per hour in less than 4 seconds and on to a top speed of 180 mph.
According to Infiniti Communications Senior Manager Kyle Bazemore in an email to Autoblog, the modded GT-R powertrain was not the only choice for the Eau Rouge. It also considered "developing a high-power sports diesel" and hybrid versions with an electric supercharger. However, "this was the clear solution for this concept car," Bazemore said. Other than the drivetrain, the Eau Rouge in Switzerland is identical to the one shown in Detroit. Sadly, it is not confirmed for production; so we might not be getting the fabled Infiniti GT-R sedan any time soon. Still, we can hope.
