We, at Finish Line Auto Restorations are known for restoring American muscle cars. We completed  a restoration for a customer and he sort of ran out of money. We took this Infinity on trade as partial payment.

The car runs great with ice cold air conditioning. It has good tires all around and runs and drives really nicely. The seats are leather and in nice condition with no tearing. The door panels and carpets are in good condition as well.

There is no rust on this car but there are a couple of cosmetic flaws. There are a couple of paint chips on the front right fender and it looks like the previous owner backed into something with the right rear quarter panel, moving the rubber trim a tiny bit. In the rear compartment, the left speaker cover is broken and it looks like the dashboard was exposed to some sort of chemical that made it bubble up. This can be changed if you want to. The two chrome molding strips that go down the top of the roof are missing but easily replaceable. The airbag light on the dashboard is flashing. The previous owner says a sensor needs to be replaced.

Please ask any questions and look at the photos.

You are responsible for pick up or shipping. Of course, I will be available to help the shipper load.

Owners manual is included.

Six luxury-car features I'm ashamed to admit I love

Thu, 16 Oct 2014

A hot compress felt wonderful on my sore back. The methodical kneading of my shoulder blades loosened the knots that formed over several hours of driving. The Swedish-style pulses firing into my lumbar region released more tension.
I wasn't getting a much-needed massage following a recent road trip. I was getting it during the road trip.
I grew up riding in the back seat of a 1976 Chevy Nova. But once you use these lux features, it's easy to go soft.

Grand Prix of the Americas, Day 1 Recap: a city arose in the fields, and it was good

Sat, 17 Nov 2012

The Circuit of the Americas is the miracle in the fields, the track that no one thought would be finished in time to hold its appointed race. But the Texans got past the turmoil, and even though the heavy machinery was still working on dirt roads as July, come November 18 there was a beautiful, and completed, Formula 1 facility for Travis County to call its own. It was dusty, sure. But it was done, and F1 could come to town.
Infiniti, sponsors of Red Bull Racing, invited Autoblog to watch the first grand prix in America since 2007, and the first GP on a dedicated F1 course since the Phoenix street circuit in 1991. Here's a little recap of what we saw and fount out on day one.

Mercedes leads in US luxury car thefts

Wed, 31 Jul 2013

Mercedes-Benz makes some fine automobiles. The Silver Arrow'd cars are so good, apparently, that thieves can't help but try to steal them. The German brand is at the top of the charts for luxury car thefts in the US, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, with New York City leading the way. (And those New Yorkers complain about Detroit being bad!)
The C-Class was the most stolen model, with 485 ganked between 2009 and 2012 in NYC alone, while the E-Class and S-Class (which also boasted the worst recovery rate, at 59 percent) both finished in the top ten. Following the C-Class was the BMW 3 Series and Infiniti G. Not surprisingly, each of these were the most common models in their respective lineups. Los Angeles and Miami are also prime hotspots for luxury car thefts, according to the Detroit News report.
While getting your car stolen is pretty awful, there was one inspiring statistic compiled by the NICB - the average recovery rate across the board was 84 percent, with the Cadillac CTS getting recovered 91 percent of the time.
