Selling my 2010 British Racing Green Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8. This is a SEMA/Award winning daily driven shop & show car of GCTuner / Vertical Doors Inc. Only one owner Non-Smoker. The car has been meticulously taken care of inside and out. Maintenence has always been taken care of at Kia-Hyundai repair of Temecula and only 91 gas and Synthetic Oil was used for every oil change since the very first change. Mileage was accumulated due to working 35 miles away from home. This vehicle was more of a daily driven show car and never raced or even pushed hard! Engine runs as strong as it did when i first picked her up from the dealership. The car does have a check engine light due to the oil pressure sensor being relocated to a different location so that we could tap the oil pressure and oil temp sensors for the Prosport Gauges but this does not affect performance or hurt the motor in any way. Custom Reflash of the ECU can take the CEL away or if you don't care to monitor oil pressure/oil temp then you can easily put it back to stock in about an hour and that will take care of the CEL.. I can't emphasize enough that this car looks and runs brand new. The paint job on the car is only about a year old and the following maintenance has been done on the car recently:

Amsoil Oil Change, Amsoil Brake Fluid Change, Amsoil Transmission Fluid Change R1 Concept Slotted Rotors, Posiiquiet Brake Pads Front and Rear, Enthuspec Brake lines, Enthuspec Clutchline, AC Condensor replaced and AC refilled, Gates Racing Serpentine Belt, Odyssey Battery, ACT Stage 1 Clutch & Single Mass Flywheel. (Most of these have been changed within the past 1500 miles or earlier.)

This car has been huge part of my life as we cater to the Genesis Coupe community selling aftermarket parts and the car was our main source of advertising / marketing the different parts we sell. The car has gotten so much media attention from Social Media, Billboards, Magazine advertisements, carshows, SEMA and in the Genesis Coupe Scene / KDM World it has become an Icon. I've really taken good care of the car as i always wanted it to be prestine for shows. Price is FIRM. I'm in no rush to sell the car.

Hyundai's 2015 Genesis Super Bowl commercial is Dad-approved

Mon, 27 Jan 2014

Super Bowl commercials allow advertising and marketing execs the opportunity to let their hair down, have a bit of fun and get silly. That's why Audi's ad features a mutant, CGI-animated dog, GoDaddy's spot features a beefcake Danica Patrick and Kia has recruited Laurence Fishburne as Morpheus, from the Matrix films. Hyundai, meanwhile, didn't seem to get the memo.
It's not that its spot is bad, but it does feel a bit boring, playing a lot like Hyundai's non-Super Bowl advertisements - in other words, not something we're going to be talking about next Monday around the water cooler. Called Dad's Sixth Sense, the 30-second clip shows off the 2015 Genesis Sedan and its auto emergency braking system, after showing dad's saving their kids from what we imagine would be fairly painful, and in some cases horrific, accidents (tackling a hot barbecue, anyone?).
We've got the full spot down below. Keep your eye out for it on Super Bowl Sunday.

Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis Concept takes a sleek look at the future

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

After seeing the promising lines of Hyundai's latest concept car last week in a shadowy teased rendering, we now have a better idea about what this sleek concept is all about. The 2013 Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis Concept received its official debut today at the Detroit Auto Show, and it's expected to be a pretty good indication of the styling direction for the next-generation Genesis sedan, although not quite the real deal.
Comparing this concept to spy shots of a Genesis prototype captured early last month, we can see that many elements of the HCD-14 will be incorporated into the newest Hyundai luxury sedan. As is the case with any concept car, the oversized carbon fiber wheels and suicide rear doors will certainly not be making it to the production model, but it will be interesting to see if the next-generation sedan has some of this car's styling cues like the hard-edged body creases along the side of the car, the coupe-like roofline running all the way to the rear of the car leaving no true decklid, or even the fine details like the "Genesis" etched into the headlights.
In addition to the styling of the car, there are plenty of new features being introduced on the concept that may be intended for the final product. This includes cabin technology features like a head-up display, hand-gesture recognition, and even a system that is able to track a driver's eyes to select options in various vehicle functions such as audio or climate controls. There also luxury appointments like the real milled wood accents and the iPad storage station. Hyundai is also promising improved driving dynamics with a more rigid chassis, new driver-selectable settings for various driving conditions and, of course, carrying over the 5.0-liter direct-injected V8 paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Reader Spy: 2012 Hyundai Accent hatchback caught napping

2012 Hyundai Accent hatchback - Click above for high-res image gallery
Eagle-eyed Autoblog reader James spotted a camouflaged compact hatchback sitting in a parking lot in South Korea the other day, and fortunately for us, he had a camera with him. At first glance, this is obviously a new Hyundai based on the upward sweeping crease along the side that is characteristic of Hyundai's new 'fluidic sculpture' design language.
Closer examination indicates that this is almost certainly the five-door hatchback version of the new Verna/Accent that debuted at the Beijing Motor Show in April. The wheels are the same as the ones we saw on the Verna and the side crease extends ahead of the door cut-line which differs from the Elantra that debuted a week later at the Busan show in Korea.
