This vehicle was used for our video production company. Various scratches/dings etc. RUNS GOOD. Great for cargo/large item transport. All seats removable.- Just had car professionally cleaned. Shampooed areas of carpet. Waxed. - Breaks replaced 5k Miles ago. May need rotors rotated/alignment soon. (Slight shimmy on breaking)- Timing Belt replaced 7k miles ago. - Check engine light stays on. Our service center cant figure out why. Car runs fine (it's been on for over a year and has never broken down/not started). - Doors are Manual and Motorized. Driver side sliding door works fine. Passenger side requires you press the button on dash to motorize close.- All blinkers/headlights work. - Ceiling lights in front need to be tighted back to roof of car (not fully holding in place). - Door panels/felt/lining have taken a bit of a beating. Buyer could fix. RUNS WELL - GREAT FOR MOVING LARGE ITEMS - ALL SEATS ARE REMOVABLE."

Van runs great for it's age. A perfect cargo/utility vehicle. Other than cosmetic items, the only item that may need to be checked soon is rotating rotors or an alignment (slight shimmy on breaking).  But we just had a bunch of stuff done on the vehicle including a new timing belt, new break pads, and tires.

We used this vehicle with all seats (except front row) removed - to haul video production equipment.  So the interior is a little beat up. Windows are fine. Interior siding is a little beat up. All seats come with car.

If you are looking for a van that simply is reliable, runs well, has large cargo room for a mini-van, and has never had any major problems/accidents - this would be a great van for you. It is 13 years old, so it has a number of cosmetic issues, scratches, dents (larger dent on back door), interior side felt is coming off a bit. - But it's 13 years old.  However, runs just fine - never had any major issues.

Honda Civic Tourer images arrive early on web

Sun, 03 Mar 2013

Honda provided a teaser sketch of its Civic Tourer concept wagon about a month ago (right), but today, just a couple days before its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show, we've found these official pics of the car in question from WhatCar?
The Civic Tourer concept adds a little length and height to the current Civic hatchback sold in Europe, stretching the shape every which way to make a new wagon model that will compete with cars like the new Volkswagen Golf Variant, which is also making its debut in Geneva this week.
As we mentioned when Honda released the teaser sketch last month, the European Civic is different from the Civic sold here in the US, so the production version of this concept, which should debut in the fall, will never see the inside of a dealership in the States. Do you care, or does the smaller Fit fill that role well enough for Americans?

2015 Honda Fit production gets underway in Mexico

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

After two years of construction, Honda's new factory in Celaya, Mexico, has officially begun production of the all-new 2015 Fit in North America. Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto and Honda President and CEO Takanobu Ito both attended the opening and watched the first Fit roll off the line at the $800-million plant. Later this year, Honda will add production of its new Vezel small crossover to the new facility, though the latter is expected to be marketed in North America under a new name.
The Celaya factory will specialize in building subcompact cars by employing cutting-edge tech to use less material and less energy during production. Honda is still constructing a $470-million transmission plant on the campus to build continuously variable transmissions in the second half of 2015. When it's finished, it is expected to have an annual capacity of 200,000 vehicles and employ 3,200 people.
With the facility's completion, Honda now has a 1.92-million unit annual production capacity in North America, and it claims that when Celaya reaches full production, 95-percent of vehicles sold in the US will be built in North America. The new Fit has already proven quite popular in Japan, and now we will have to wait and see if North American buyers embrace it as well. The first new Fit customer cars will hit the roads later this spring, and as Honda spokesman Steve Kinkade tells Autoblog, all Fit models sold in North American will be built at the plant. Scroll down to read the full press release about the Fit and its new Mexican home.

Petrolicious profiles an 'original fanboy' and his 1987 Honda CRX Si

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

Christopher Hoffman is a guy I'd like to meet. He's profiled in the latest installment of Petrolicious, titled Original Fanboy, because of his love and dedication to his 1987 Honda CRX Si. And that's something I can relate to.
My personal car is a black 1988 Honda CRX Si. Road & Track executive editor Sam Smith sold it to me in December 2010 with some 93,000 miles on the odometer (and one bum tire!), and though I don't drive it nearly as much as I should, I'm madly in love with my little Honda. I take immense pride in owning this car, despite my recent neglect. As soon as we're done with this Polar Vortex crap here in the midwestern United States, I'm going to pull the CRX out of its wintertime storage and show it the love it deserves.
Like me, Hoffman fully understands the beauty of the CRX. It's not super powerful, or even quick (when it was new, its 0-60 time was just over 9 seconds), but it's extremely light, and comes from an era when Honda was churning out brilliantly simple cars. The steering is incredibly precise, the transmission perfect, and the chassis superb. Nearly 26 years after its birth, I adore every moment behind the wheel of my CRX. And thanks to this Petrolicious special, I know I'm not alone. Scroll down to watch the full episode.
