Up for sale is a 1998 Honda Civic CX Hatchback. Its a one owner car, clean title and never been in a major wreck. It shows three accidents on the car history, they were parking lot mishap, two of them were just a scuff paint and they buff right out and the third one is also a scuff on the rear passenger front wheelwell. I haven't tried to remove it but I'm pretty sure it will buff right out.It has 198,000 miles on it, mostly freeway miles and the only reason why the mileage is so high because I drove it back and fort to Canada and I go to Las Vegas couple of times a year. The body is decent it has some dings and the paint is a little faded but otherwise its decent. The interior is grey, it has some wear, the headliner is hanging due to the glue coming off and some rip as shown in the picture, the passenger side sun shade is missing and the driver has some tear in it. This is a common problem with the civics, the headliner and sun shade just simply deteriorate due to age and the sun beating on it.The seats are good there is one small tear on the driver side about 1/4 of an inch but otherwise unnoticeable and the rest are good just a little bit of wear due to daily usage. The car has an aftermarket 15'rims and almost new Falken tires. The car is regularly service and oil change using synthetic Royal Purple oil and the timing belt and valve lash was just done170,000 and doesn't need to be service in a while. There is no oil leaks and the transmission shift nice and firm. This is a very reliable car and would be great for a daily driver. I hate to part with this car but since I bought a new car it just sits in the driveway collecting dust and its time for someone else to enjoy it. The car is also on sale locally so the auction can end anytime. Please don't hesitate to ask questions.

Honda next to open museum to Google Street View

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

Had your fill of tooling around the Lamborghini Museum on Google Street View? Maybe Italian supercars aren't your thing? Then we've got good news, because The House That Ferruccio Built isn't the only automotive museum in cyberspace: now the Honda Collection Hall has opened its doors to the crew from Mountain View, too.
The Honda Collection Hall, for those who haven't made it out to Japan's Tochigi Prefecture, is a grand three-story museum dedicated to all things Honda. It's located at the Twin Ring Motegi, and has been open since 1998. Inside visitors will find everything from robots and scooters to SUVs and racing cars. But if you can't make it there in person, you can check out all three levels of floorspace on Street View right from the comfort of your home. Check out the images above and the interactive map below.

Honda Tourer BTCC car lavished with photographic love

Wed, 19 Mar 2014

Back in December, Honda Yuasa Racing gave us one image of the Civic Tourer entrant it's fielding in the 2014 British Touring Car Championship. Thanks to media days at Brands Hatch and a few photos from Oulton Park, we've got a whole photo album of the elongated Civic that will attempt to continue Honda's BTCC winning ways and shots of drivers Gordon Shedden and Matt Neal.
This is the first wagon to race in the BTCC since 1994, when Jan Lammers and Rickard Rydel had just one year to throw the Volvo 850 Estate BTCC between the kerbing. The following year, the rules were changed so that rear wings couldn't extend above the roofline or beyond the rear bumper, which meant the end of Volvo's blue and white "pizza delivery wagon."
The season begins on March 30 at Brands Hatch, when Shedden and Neal will begin trying to wrest the driver's championship crown from Pirtek Racing. We don't know anything more about the manufacturer entry go-fast Civic Tourer, however, which means this is just an easy feast for the eyes. Because racing wagon.

New death linked to Takata airbag crisis, Honda recalls 170k vehicles overseas

Sat, 15 Nov 2014

The safety crisis surrounding Takata's exploding airbags continues to expand. In the latest revelation, Honda confirms another death linked to the faulty parts, and the company is expanding its recall of the components. However, none of the newly added vehicles are in the United States.
With the confirmation of this report, there are now five deaths linked to the faulty airbags. According to The New York Times, a pregnant woman in Malaysia was killed on July 27 in a 2003 Honda City when she crashed into another vehicle, and the inflator ruptured. This was the first announced case outside of the US.
The faulty part in the woman's car was reportedly made at a now-closed Takata factory in Georgia, according to the NYT, and it's the first known example from that location. In response, Honda recalled about 170,000 vehicles in Europe and Asia to replace the potentially bad inflators. The latest campaign brings the total number of recalled vehicles worldwide to around 14.3 million units.
