1997 Honda Civic Ex Sedan 4-door 1.6l - Great Running - No Reserve!!! on 2040-cars
Davidsonville, Maryland, United States
You are bidding on a great running 1997 Honda Civic EX with a well-maintained 164k miles. Drives like new. The engine is very strong with extremely good gas
mileage as you would expect in the mid-30’s. This is a 5-speed manual transmission NOT AUTOMATIC. Clutch is also in good working order. The oil has just been
changed. A/C blows cold. Power windows function
properly. The
interior is in great condition with very little signs of wear. The
seats and carpet are in great shape. Tires have about 80% tread
left. Brakes and rotors are also in very good shape. Issues to address: The obvious: sun-damaged paint. Typical for Hondas of this vintage. Not required, but if you like, I can have the car painted prior to pick-up for an additional $350. This cost would be in addition to final bid price and related fees. Overall, this is a great car with years of service left for the next owner. This vehicle
is being offered for sale “AS-IS” because of year and miles. If you
are new to Ebay or if you have fewer than 4 transactions, please contact me
prior to bidding for approval to bid or I will cancel your bid
immediately. There is a $125 documentation fee in addition to the
final selling price. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required via Paypal
within 48 hours of auction close. Transaction must be completed within 7
days of auction end (full payment and pick-up arrangements at least). I
have done my best to describe the vehicle as accurately as
possible. Once purchased, this car can be driven anywhere in the
country without issue. Contact me via email with any
questions. Please bid with confidence and good luck. |

Honda's first production jet takes off from North Carolina
Mon, 30 Jun 2014Plenty of automakers have backgrounds in aircraft manufacturing. BMW, Bristol, Mitsubishi, Saab and Spyker all started out in the airplane business. But Honda is going the opposite direction, expanding its automotive (not to mention motorcycle, ATV, marine engine and power equipment) business with the launch of the HondaJet. And that project has just taken a big step forward.
After starting production a year and a half ago, the Japanese industrial giant recently completed its first customer HondaJet, and has now taken that initial production aircraft to the skies for its landmark first flight. The aircraft left the production facility in Greensboro and took off on Friday morning from Piedmont Triad International Airport in North Carolina - the same state where the Wright Brothers undertook their first flight over a century ago.
The HondaJet undertook an 84-minute test flight, climbing to 15,500 feet and reaching a speed of 348 knots. That works out to 400 miles per hour - assuredly faster than any Honda (save for maybe a prototype for the same aircraft) has traveled before. The aircraft is designed to cruise at a maximum of 420 knots (483 mph) and reach a maximum altitude of 43,000 feet.
Bisimoto 2014 Honda Odyssey packs 1,029 hp plus the kids
Wed, 06 Nov 2013You know, the last time I drove a Honda Odyssey, I thought, "Man, this thing could really use another 781 horsepower." Thank goodness for the folks at Bisimoto, then, who have brought this "Power-Van" to the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. It's your standard seven-passenger Honda Odyssey with massive powertrain tuning to deliver a full 1,029 horsepower. Honda has not listed the torque output, but we imagine it's roughly eleventy billion foot-pounds.
That crazy power bump has been achieved through the use of - *deep breath* - an Infinity ECU, Arias pistons, ARP headstuds and bolts, Bisimoto's own 360-degree oil cap, a cat-back exhaust system, stainless mufflers, an improved fuel pump, new spark plugs, custom headwork, R&R custom steel rods, Turbonetics BTZ7265 twin turbochargers, a wastegate, blowoff valve, VP racing fuels and a whole lot more. Honda says the only chassis/suspension modifications come in the way of Fifteen52 wheels, 225/30-series Toyo T1 Sport tires and Young Guns performance exhaust coatings. So as far as we can tell, this thing still uses a front-wheel-drive setup. I bet it'll do somersaults.
Of course, this is SEMA, where we assume there's a four-modification minimum for any car that enters the Las Vegas Convention Center, so the Odyssey has been given added visual flair, as well. Outside, that means there's a Denmatic design theme, a whole mess of Honda accessories (check out that roof tub) and some new paint. Inside, upgraded upholstery has been fitted, as have Recaro seats.
Honda customizing Vezel to headline Tokyo Auto Salon lineup
Thu, 26 Dec 2013With the Tokyo Motor Show now behind it, the Japanese automotive industry is gearing up for the next big event. That'd be the Tokyo Auto Salon, Japan's equivalent to SEMA or Essen, set to take place at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba. Subaru has already announced what it has in store for the tuner expo, and now Honda has followed suit.
Most interesting of all the tuner concepts Honda has lined up are a pair of modified Vezel crossovers. The one pictured above is kitted out with parts from the Modulo catalog, while a second one is being prepared by Mugen (similar to the one recently leaked). Both look pretty sharp and hint at the possibilities in store for the Fit-based crossover that'll come to these shores with turbo power.
Honda is also displaying Modulo and Mugen versions of a number of other vehicles, including its N family of Kei cars, the new JDM Odyssey and the Fit. There's an N-WGN kitted out like a cookie delivery truck, an N-Box+ modified to look like an Element, a series of Ninja Turtles-inspired Grom motorbikes and an array of racing machinery. Check 'em all out in the gallery above and the press release below.
