I am selling my 1992 Honda Civic VX Hatchback with the 1.5 liter D15Z1 V-Tec Motor. I am the third owner of this vehicle and have a clear title to it. I bought it in 2005 and it has always been a smoke free vehicle. It does have some minor hail damage and a dent in the left front fender. It has all the original windows. Has never been wrecked. All paint and body are original. This vehicle has had after market cruise control installed and is fully functional and has a cell phone holder installed on the right side of gear shifter (as seen in pics). It has an after market Eclipse Model 5303R cd player that is fully functional. Includes an Alpine Flex 4 channel power Amplifier mrp-f256 (as seen in pics). Motor and transmission are all original. I have had no problems with them at all. I used this car for a daily 100 mile round-trip commute to work for 1.5 years. It averages 400 miles on 8.5 gallons of gas or approximately 47 miles to the gallon. As preventitive maintenance, I replaced the clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, timing belt, water pump and set the valves about 40,000 miles ago. I have also replaced both CV axels. Due to a recent job change I now have a 3 mile commute and no longer need this economical vehicle. It has factory air conditioning which works perfectly, as well as the heater. The vehicle is fully functional and in perfect driving condition. Still gets AMAZING gas mileage! $500 deposit must be made to PayPal within 48 hours of auction ending. Honda CR-V updated for 2015
Mon, 22 Sep 2014The CR-V was first introduced way back in the mid-90s, but Honda has done a good job of keeping it fresh. Now four generations in, the CR-V has been replaced every four or five years. And though the latest version just arrived on the scene a couple of years ago, Honda's giving it a refresh for the 2015 model year.
We've already spied these changes, but now, the Japanese automaker has officially released the image you see above, showing the updated 2015 CR-V with some cosmetic enhancements. The chrome bar at the bottom of the grille integrates smartly with the LEDs outlining the projector-beam headlights, capping a reshaped front bumper with new fog lamps.
Of course, the wheels and mirror caps have been redone as well, but we'll have to wait until Honda releases the full monte to see what the new CR-V looks like around back, inside and under the hood. All Honda is confirming at the moment is that the revised styling "portends the significant enhancements made to the 2015 CR-V" and that it will release further information on September 30 before the updated model goes on sale October 1, so watch this space for more.
Snapshots from Acura NSX prototype run at Mid-Ohio
Mon, 05 Aug 2013Acura's achingly slow showing of the new, hybrid NSX saw yet another step yesterday, as we reported late last week. A powder-blue prototype ran ahead of the open-wheelers at the Honda Indy 200 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Why show the NSX Prototype at Mid-Ohio? Honda's Ohio research and development center, which has taken the lead on NSX development, is just 60 miles from the track. And as race sponsor, Honda must have figured it would give the spectators a glimpse of the new supercar it's been teasing for the better part of a decade.
With a planned launch in 2015 (special emphasis on the "planned" part, considering the NSX's history), the NSX Prototype shown here sports graphics that "speak to Acura's intention to go racing with the new NSX." That's great news for fans of endurance racing, although it remains to be seen when a motorsports program for the new NSX will get off the ground.

2014 Honda Civic Coupe
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Honda lifted the covers off its refreshed Civic Coupe at SEMA earlier this month, showing off its updated styling and redesigned 18-inch wheels, but didn't unveil its interior or mechanical upgrades until today at the LA Auto Show. Eager to show off its latest arrival, Honda allowed me to check out and drive the new coupe a few weeks ago.
The interior, which was hidden beneath heavily tinted glass at SEMA, features new colors, upgraded seating materials and new technology. The interior themes are now more color coordinated and feature upgraded Tricot soft weave. Black is the standard interior color, with a choice of black or gray seats. A new display audio system is also found on the EX/EX-L trims. The seven-inch capacitive-touch screen, with a matte finish to reduce the annoyance of greasy fingerprint marks, allows users to not only tap once for a function, but to double-tap, slide, flick and pinch - as if they are using a familiar smartphone or tablet. The new infotainment interface not only accepts USB and Bluetooth data exchange, but has also been configured with HDMI for future upgrades. Some of you may have also noticed the exterior mirrors on the SEMA car, as they were fitted with cameras for Honda's blind spot minimizing Lanewatch system. It is now offered on the Civic Coupe for EX trims and above.
Mechanically, the new Civic Coupe rides on an upgraded suspension system that features revised spring rates (front up by four percent, rear up by three percent), a stiffer rear stabilizer (up by 25 percent) and larger 16-inch wheels (wearing 205/55R16 tires). The engineering objective was to improve handling and responsiveness while flattening cornering. According to Honda, the tweaks should give the Civic Coupe better linear steering feel than either the Hyundai Elantra or the Ford Focus.
