I have a 2008 Honda Accord EX-L V6 for sale. We are the second owner of this vehicle and have owned it since March of 2011 with 33,000 miles on it. I have personally done all the oil changes on this car and have used Mobile 1 synthetic oil every time. This car has never left us stranded and I would not hesitate to drive it across the country. There are a couple scratches on the car, what used daily driver doesn't have them? There is curb rash on one wheel and it is the passenger rear wheel. It still balances and isn't bent at all. The car now has 85,000 miles on it and will continue to go up due to it being a daily driver. It will go up at least 26 miles a day to and from work. It is female driven and constantly gets 23 MPG mixed city and highway. It has gotten a constant 28 MPG on a summer trip to the beach at 70 MPH. This past trip to the beach was still the 28 MPG, even with 80k miles on it. The only thing that I have had to do to this car is change the oil and breaks in the 50k miles of ownership. The only reason we are getting rid of it is my mom wants to get something more "luxurious." It will need the timing belt between in 5-15k miles. This car will be professionally detailed inside and out before the new owner takes ownership and the curb rash will be fixed (only if he can fix it). Honda Walking Assist Device begins US testing at Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago

For years, we've been wondering what implications Honda's Asimo robot could have in the real world, and now we're starting to get a sense of that. Honda announced that it will begin its first US clinical studies of the Walking Assist Device at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago in an effort to provided improved mobility for people who have suffered a stroke. While the automotive tie-in here is pretty weak, this is the first time we've heard about this device since it was unveiled back in 2008.
Weighing in at six pounds, Honda's device is fitted to the waist and legs of patients to make it easier to walk, and the 22.2-volt lithium-ion battery provides enough electricity for more than an hour of operation. According to Honda's press release, which is posted below, up to 80 percent of the almost 800,000 stroke victims each year (in the US alone) are afflicted with limited mobility, so a medical aid like this could have a big impact in the real world.

NHTSA releases updated Takata airbag recalled cars list, but it still has errors

Unfortunately, the government's list still contains errors.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued an updated list of vehicle models that it's urging owners to repair under the mushrooming Takata airbag inflator recall. The latest version adds vehicles from new automakers like Subaru and Ford that are missing from the original announcement, and it also removes erroneous entries from General Motors, leaving only the 2005 Saab 9-2X (a reskinned Subaru WRX), and the 2003-2005 Pontiac Vibe, a joint project with Toyota.
