Windshield has on or two pits in it, but they've been there for years and I don't expect them to spread. The pull latch for the trunk hood doesn't work, but the remote trunk opener and key do. The airbag light occasionally comes on, but most of the time it is off - I've never had it checked out, so I don't know what the problem there is. The trunk hood and rear bumper were replaced about 4 or 5 years ago after I was bumped into at a stop light - the pics show that you can't tell that they're not the original."

This Honda was my daily driver for the last 6 years, and I would keep driving it, but my grandmother gave up driving & now I have her car.  It did a daily 120 mile round trip commute up and down the south end of the Garden State Parkway.  The last 130k miles are truly highway miles - mostly traveled in cruise control.  I've had the car since it had 27k miles on it.  Interior is in pretty good shape.  I'm not a smoker so I can vouch that the car has been smoke free since I bought it.  The tires were recently replaced and only have a few thousand miles on them.  Gas mileage is good - it gets about 30 or 31 miles to the gallon. I'm not sure what the car is rated for, but that was my own calculation.  The car has been very dependable & has had no mechanical problems whatsoever the entire time that I've had it.  I've done the usual maintenance on it: belts, brakes, tires, oil, fluids, etc..  If you would like to inspect or drive the car before bidding, I encourage you to do so. Just contact me through ebay & we'll set up a time before the auction is over.  I will not ship the car, the winning bidder must pick it up from my home in Toms River, NJ.  Pickup and full payment in cash is expected within 7 days of the winning bid.  Cash will be the only payment accepted.

Honda Tourer BTCC car lavished with photographic love

Wed, 19 Mar 2014

Back in December, Honda Yuasa Racing gave us one image of the Civic Tourer entrant it's fielding in the 2014 British Touring Car Championship. Thanks to media days at Brands Hatch and a few photos from Oulton Park, we've got a whole photo album of the elongated Civic that will attempt to continue Honda's BTCC winning ways and shots of drivers Gordon Shedden and Matt Neal.
This is the first wagon to race in the BTCC since 1994, when Jan Lammers and Rickard Rydel had just one year to throw the Volvo 850 Estate BTCC between the kerbing. The following year, the rules were changed so that rear wings couldn't extend above the roofline or beyond the rear bumper, which meant the end of Volvo's blue and white "pizza delivery wagon."
The season begins on March 30 at Brands Hatch, when Shedden and Neal will begin trying to wrest the driver's championship crown from Pirtek Racing. We don't know anything more about the manufacturer entry go-fast Civic Tourer, however, which means this is just an easy feast for the eyes. Because racing wagon.

Honda customizing Vezel to headline Tokyo Auto Salon lineup

Thu, 26 Dec 2013

With the Tokyo Motor Show now behind it, the Japanese automotive industry is gearing up for the next big event. That'd be the Tokyo Auto Salon, Japan's equivalent to SEMA or Essen, set to take place at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba. Subaru has already announced what it has in store for the tuner expo, and now Honda has followed suit.
Most interesting of all the tuner concepts Honda has lined up are a pair of modified Vezel crossovers. The one pictured above is kitted out with parts from the Modulo catalog, while a second one is being prepared by Mugen (similar to the one recently leaked). Both look pretty sharp and hint at the possibilities in store for the Fit-based crossover that'll come to these shores with turbo power.
Honda is also displaying Modulo and Mugen versions of a number of other vehicles, including its N family of Kei cars, the new JDM Odyssey and the Fit. There's an N-WGN kitted out like a cookie delivery truck, an N-Box+ modified to look like an Element, a series of Ninja Turtles-inspired Grom motorbikes and an array of racing machinery. Check 'em all out in the gallery above and the press release below.

Honda already working on NSX roadster

Mon, 25 Nov 2013

Honda doesn't do many convertibles. There was the original Sports 360, the Civic del Sol, the S2000 and the Beat. But so far, that's pretty much it. The previous NSX was offered with a targa-style top, but the latest reports indicate that the Japanese automaker is already working on a proper convertible version of the new NSX, to be sold once again as an Acura in North America and a Honda in other markets.
Although it's not yet known whether the NSX roadster will offer a hard or soft top, sources indicate that it won't be a mere removable roof panel. Whatever form it does take, however, expect it to arrive a good couple of years after the tin-top version launches in 2015 with a similar form to the concept but with different underpinnings and a radical interior.
