Interior Condition9-9.5 out of 10, 10 being brand new. No issues to speak of. Clean carpet with no issues, newer Lloyds Floor Mats for all 3 rows of seating ($300).  These provide far better coverage and quality than the stock mats.  Leather is all in great condition. Non-smoker, pet-free, very clean and conscious family!

Exterior Condition8-8.5 out of 10, 10 being new. I like to be realistic and critical so I don't waste your time or mine. I don't have time for games or tire kickers and you don't have time to drive out to look at 20 vehicles before you find someone that describes their car properly. Minor rub mark at the bottom far corner of the rear bumper (black, shown in a picture). Looks like a shopping cart scratch or similar that rubbed it. It's not worth painting to me but could be done for $75-$150 depending on your body shop.

The rear bumper has a clip on the underside broken on one side, evidently by someone backing into it in a parking lot.  This is JUST the plastic bumper part.  This is not noticeable and not worth spending $500 to ding my insurance. You can barely notice hair line cracks that are only in the clear coat (you can't feel them) at the very front corners of the rear bumper.  Hard to even get them to show in pictures.  Wow, I'm being picky but why not do it the right way.

No real dings to speak of. I'm trying to remember what tiny nicks you may find here and there, but I've take pictuers of any "issues" that differentiate it from perfect. No accidents (unless you call the rear bumper issue an accident). There are a couple of minor rub marks on a couple of the alloy wheels where Discount Tire had "wheel weights" mounted on the outside lip of the alloys. Hard to notice unless you're up close, again, I have pictures. All body panels, etc are original.  I believe you'll be hard pressed to find a better Yukon XL or Suburban for this money.

Other things to discuss:

Shipping: I'd be glad to help your Shipper and can hold the Yukon until they arrive, assuming funds have cleared.

Deposit: $500 non refundable deposit due immediately after auction end.  If you bid, be sure you're ready to buy and send the deposit.  Feel free to drive it before you bid or have it taken to any shop to have it looked at.  I have full confidence that it needs nothing and won't for a long, long time.  I have the means to keep the maintenance up and it's not worth skipping things that need to be fixed.

If you'd like more pictures, please let me know.

We still have a loan on this through our Credit Union. We can go there together to pay it off and the Title will be signed over to you. Or your funds can be forwarded to them by you or your Bank/Credit Union.  If you need a loan, their rates are 2.95% right now on used autos. PLEASE do not contact me if you are not already pre approved for a loan or paying cash. And no, you can't take over my loan, but you can apply for a new one yourself.

I'm available to show most any time and am very friendly and easy to work with.

SCAMMERS, TIRE KICKERS, AND LOW BALLERS, I'M NOT INTERESTED!!! :-)

Feedback: Note our 100% perfect, positive feedback for ~10 YEARS on eBay!

2014 Chevy Silverado priced from *$24,585, V8 gets better economy than Ford EcoBoost V6

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

Chevrolet has thrown down the next hand in the pickup truck poker wars and revealed at least a couple of potential aces - depending on which numbers matter most to you. The 2014 2014 Silverado 1500 with its 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 gets 335 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, is mated to a six-speed automatic, can tow 11,500 pounds with the optional Max Trailer Package and costs the same as the outgoing Silverado, $24,585 (*including $995 destination fee). Chevy says the Silverado also stands atop the fuel economy charts when comparing any competitor with a V8 engine - and some competitors with V6 engines. The two-wheel drive model returns 16 miles per gallon city, 23 mpg highway, 19 mpg combined in two-wheel drive guise and 16 mpg city, 22 mpg highway and 18 mpg combined as a four-wheel drive.
For context around those numbers, the most fuel efficient V8-powered 2013 Ford F-150 pickups lose about two mpg in every metric compared to the Silverado, the 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost returning 16 city, 18 highway and 22 combined in two-wheel drive. However, that EcoBoost does have 365 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. You can get a Ram 1500 with a 3.6-liter V6 that gets 25 mpg highway, but it has 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. The 2013 Ram with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 and its 395 hp and 407 lb-ft drops one mpg in every category to the Silverado. Its tow rating is 200 pounds beyond its nearest competitor, the F-150 with the Max Trailer Tow Package.
Elsewhere, the new Silverado gets a quieter cab with a redesigned interior, a new bed with improved load-management possibilities, disc brakes all around, tweaked steering and suspension, along with free standard scheduled maintenance for two years or 24,000 miles.

GM's fullsize SUVs boost highway mileage by nearly 10 percent

Wed, 26 Feb 2014

We met the redesigned 2015 versions of the Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe, and the GMC Yukon and Yukon XL at the 2013 LA Auto Show. Improved gas mileage numbers have been announced to go along with the improved exteriors and interiors, with city mileage improving by seven percent and highway mileage going up by nearly ten percent; you'll now get 16 miles per gallon in the city and 23 on the highway.
The only applies to models with the 5.3-liter engine, though, not the premium Yukon Denali and Yukon XL Denali SUVs with the 6.2-liter motor. Still, the 5.3 gets you more power than previously, with 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque underfoot, on top of the improved fuel economy numbers. The 6.2-liter sticks with official mpg ratings of 15 highway, 21 city. There's a brief press release below with words straight from the horse's mouth.

Detroit 3 to implement delayed unified towing standards for 2015

Mon, 10 Feb 2014

Car buyers have a responsibility to be well-informed consumers. That's not always a very simple task, but some guidelines are self-evident. If you live in a very snowy climate, you generally know a Ford Mustang or Chevrolet Camaro might not be as viable a vehicle choice as an all-wheel drive Explorer or Traverse, for example. If you want a fuel-efficient car, it's generally a good idea to know the difference between a diesel and a hybrid. But what if it's kind of tough to be an informed consumer? What if the information you need is more difficult to come by, or worse, based on different standards for each vehicle? Well, in that case, you might be a truck shopper.
For years, customers of light-duty pickups have had to suffer through different ratings of towing capacities for each brand. For 2015 model year trucks, though, that will no longer be a problem. According to Automotive News, General Motors, Ford and Chrysler Group have announced that starting with next year's models, a common standard will be used to measure towing capacity. The Detroit Three will join Toyota, which adopted the Society of Automotive Engineers' so-called SAE J2807 standards way back in 2011.
The standard was originally supposed to be in place for MY2013, but concerns that it would lower the overall stated capacity for trucks led Detroit automakers to pass. Ford originally passed, claiming it'd wait until its new F-150 was launched to adopt the new standards, leading GM and Ram to follow suit. Nissan, meanwhile, has said it will adopt the new standards as its vehicles are updated, meaning the company's next-generation Titan should adhere to the same tow ratings as its competitors.
