White GMC C3500 with Vortec 454  Engine and automatic transmission it does not burn oil or leak fluids. Transmission fluid was drained and replaced with new filter in April 2014.  Vehicle has 176585 miles with fair tires that should be replace. There are some dings and dents but they do not affect operation as well as the fiberglass dually fenders are cracking. The passenger fiber glass front flare is missing from being torn off from a flat tire at highway speed. (see pictures).

I got the truck in trade on a rental house I owned in October 2013, the previous owner was a contractor that lost it to a guy who had loaned money on it and purchased my house.

Even with the inexpensive cosmetic body issues, this is still a nice looking truck and is in mechanically excellent condition other than the AC needing service. I use it for my junk removal business in town and never run the AC anyway.  Drove to Fairbury, NE. over 4th of July weekend and had no problems and got 15.6 MPG. In town it gets around 10.8 the last time I checked it. Used the 4 wheel drive last winter and never had any problems with it.

In February the DVD player was stolen and the thieves broke the gear shifter  off to get the DVD player out of the dash. I haven't replace the DVD player or the shifter or researched the cost to replace the shifter till yesterday and found that a shifter on ebay is $24.95 and I could replace it in about 20 minutes.

I have injured my L5 vertebrae and am just wanting to sell everything and move on to something else. With a little bit of work this will make you a real nice truck. Check out the pictures and make me the best bid you can.

Have a clean clear title in my hand and you will need to make arrangement to pick up at 416 W Prescott, Salina, KS 67401

Big And Boxy Might Be Best
As immense fans of the Back to the Future trilogy, we sometimes like to envision an alternate timeline in which General Motors had killed off GMC and kept Pontiac instead. The G8 GXP would still be on the road handily beating German sport sedans costing twice as much, while the lowly G3 would morph into a true subcompact-killer based on what is now the Chevrolet Sonic RS. While we're at it, let's go ahead and imagine the G6 has become the best-selling car in the US and the Torrent crossover is selling 20,000+ units per month. Far-fetched, we know.
The thing is, these fanciful statements would have to be true to make the case against keeping GMC. Pontiac may have offered more excitement than GMC, but money talks, and a full line of trucks, crossovers and SUVs have made a lot more money for GM than the arrowhead brand ever did. How much? As we learned last month, about two-thirds of GM's global profits came from its fullsize trucks, and GMC's trucks typically have thicker margins than their Chevrolet counterparts.

GM's fullsize SUVs boost highway mileage by nearly 10 percent

Wed, 26 Feb 2014

We met the redesigned 2015 versions of the Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe, and the GMC Yukon and Yukon XL at the 2013 LA Auto Show. Improved gas mileage numbers have been announced to go along with the improved exteriors and interiors, with city mileage improving by seven percent and highway mileage going up by nearly ten percent; you'll now get 16 miles per gallon in the city and 23 on the highway.
The only applies to models with the 5.3-liter engine, though, not the premium Yukon Denali and Yukon XL Denali SUVs with the 6.2-liter motor. Still, the 5.3 gets you more power than previously, with 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque underfoot, on top of the improved fuel economy numbers. The 6.2-liter sticks with official mpg ratings of 15 highway, 21 city. There's a brief press release below with words straight from the horse's mouth.

J.D. Power customer survey of dealers counts Cadillac, Buick as big winners

Mon, 14 Apr 2014

Cadillac and Buick have taken the trophies in J.D. Power's latest Customer Service Index Study examining satisfaction with dealer service. Surveying more than 90,000 owners and lessees of 2009-2013 model-year cars, the study found that those with pre-paid maintenance packages were ten percent more likely to buy their next car from the same brand.
Dealer satisfaction scores have improved overall, Cadillac nabbed the luxury segment ahead of Audi and Lexus, taking the crown that Lexus held last year. Buick keeps the mass-market dealer satisfaction win in the family, finishing ahead of Volkswagen and last year's winner GMC. The study also found that service department use of tablets increased customer satisfaction, as did "best practices" like "providing helpful advice." Who knew?
You can find details on those and more findings in the press release below.
