I'm selling a 1993 Ford Thunderbird LX Coupe 2 Door with a High Output 5.0L 302Cu. in. V8 like the Mustang's roll. It has an automatic transmission that never had a problem or leak. As far as the engine there is absolutely no leaks I have 200 pictures I took if you want more detail msg me and Ill show you one dry and clean engine considering I didn't wash this vehicle for the pictures, because it will sell it self. It is located in Oak Lawn, because Palos Hills has nothing better to do then to write me tickets for a parked car.

This car is the cleanest, best running, wicked radio, and safest car under $2000.00 without a doubt. Engine has newer cap, rotor, and Belden 8MM Wires. Alternator is newer and has a Die Hard battery. Has dual exhaust I believe is stainless with tips. As far as the interior all gray leather and gray vinyl dash which is near mint.

There is 4 brand new Sony I believe maybe Pioneer I cant remember I put them in but they sound real nice with the stereo. The stereo turns 32 different colors, has 2 credit card remote controls, CD Player, rear auxiliary, as well as, front USB port so you can play all your MP3's from a USB Flash drive which shows info on the LCD Screen. Also has a mounted microphone, because you can sync Bluetooth to your phone and make and receive calls hands free through the speakers. Awesome. Brand new car mats, 2 sets black and gray, you take the pick and the girlfriend gets the other set, sorry. Automatic Climate Control, wicked A/C, wicked heat, rear defrost works fast, It needs maybe a half hour of cleaning and your good.

Toggle switch for the front fog lamps, cool and has 2 glove boxes, one under the arm rest. Has the Premium T-Bird wheels which are a hot commodity now days with 4 descent tires. The trunk is large enough to fit 5 dead bodies in or 2 grocery carts worth of food, whichever you prefer I don't judge lol. The trunk is mint like there has never been anything in there, and yes there is a spare tire and scissor jack ready to roll hidden in there. This car is a great first car, but nice enough for anyone of any age to drive cept those old old folks little sporty sorry!!! All I can say is it is 100% worth the time to look at it for that price, I would say it can go for 3 grand no prob just the odometer brings the value down. Price is pretty firm so if you plan on spending $1100.00 please don't waste both of our times.

Hate to let it go for that price but KBB says so and at under $2,000.00 you can't lose. I'm available at all times and all days. Title 100% CLEAN no problems Thank You Jesus. First come first serve, take a test ride and you will buy it. I'm a carpenter by trade not a car salesman so your going to get what you pay for. That's my speech thanks I'm out!!

LOL!

Ford demonstrates Mustang's new Line Lock burnout feature

Tue, 22 Apr 2014

Been saving your pennies for a 2015 Ford Mustang? Put in a few extra shifts or some overtime? Got a great down payment ready? Well, however much you saved for your new pony car, start saving more - you'll need the extra money to spend on tires.
That's because the Mustang will come with a system called Line Lock, which can lock the front brakes electronically, allowing drivers to perform big, dumb, smoky burnouts without moving so much as an inch. It's sort of like launch control, only the average driver might actually use it.
Now, line locks aren't uncommon, particularly in drag racing. Usually, a flip of the switch locks the front brakes. The Mustang, besides offering the system from the factory which is unique in and of itself, looks a bit more involved.

Toyota hangs on to title of world's largest automaker for first half of 2013

Fri, 26 Jul 2013

General Motors and Ford can have all the success they please, but it doesn't seem like America's two largest manufacturers are going to topple Toyota in the first half of 2013. According to Reuters, Toyota moved 4.91 million vehicles in the first six months of 2013, representing a 1.1-percent drop from the same period in 2012.
GM is on the rise, though, with a four-percent increase in global sales, to 4.85 million. Volkswagen, still sitting in third, saw a 5.5-percent jump to 4.7 million vehicles in the first half of 2013.
If this pace continues for Toyota, it'll finish 2013 in the top sales spot for the second year in a row. The manufacturer fell to third, behind GM and VW, in 2011 after earthquakes and tsunamis ravaged its production capacity.

GM readying aluminum-body fullsize pickups

Wed, 19 Feb 2014

Ford's extensive use of aluminum in its 2015 F-150 is a big deal. A really big deal. Big enough, in fact, that General Motors is reportedly changing its fullsize pickup strategy. According to The Wall Street Journal, The General has locked in partnerships with Alcoa Inc. and Novelis Inc. - companies that will supply aluminum for the next-generation Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks.
"Ford's introduction of the 2015 F-150 pickup truck was a game changer, and it's the first, not the last, conversion of this type," Novelis spokesperson Charles Belbin told the Journal. The switch to aluminum has allowed Ford to shave roughly 700 pounds off its fullsize truck's curb weight. And while official mileage ratings have not been announced, the weight loss should go a long way for improving efficiency, especially when combined other efficiency-minded improvements including better aerodynamics and new, turbocharged V6 engines.
Of course, aluminum-bodied cars are nothing new. But extensive use of aluminum in a major, best-selling product like the Ford F-150 is expected to kick off widespread use of this weight-saving material as availability rises and cost decreases. The WSJ reports that GM had originally explored the idea of moving to aluminum pickups back in 2008, but abandoned the idea due to cost concerns amid economic woes.
