1970 Ford Thunderbird, 4-Door (Suicide Doors), original robin egg blue color. Vehicle has not been driven since 2002, stored inside a garage. Current owner has had the vehicle since 1986, and it has never been driven in the winter or stored outside by the current owner. Parts included with the vehicle are a Windshield, Tail-Light system, Radiator, Door Motors for Power Windows, Headlights, Heater Core, & Spare Tire. Only major repairs done to the vehicle since 1986 is Water Pump Replacement, Master Cylinder Replacement, & Front Nose Cone was replaced with the same model year from a different Ford Thunderbird. Vehicle will need a major tune-up, some body repair around the wheel areas, a re-painting, & some repair on the driver side interior door. No other rips or stains on the cloth interior. Car was undercoated at some point, but current owner does not remember when. This vehicle is free of dents or major rust. This vehicle does not come with a title, as they were not required before 1972. Research shows only about 8500 of the 1970 models were sold, and only about 1000 with the suicide doors. 2015 Ford Mustang GT road test ride-along
Wed, 24 Sep 2014You've no doubt already pored over our first drive of the 2015 Ford Mustang, where author Jonathon Ramsey proclaimed that "this new car shames the old, redefines the model and gallops far ahead of anything else in the segment." And following Ramsey's first stint behind the wheel of Ford's new coupe, we sent him back out with another 'Stang to capture some of these same impressions over a backdrop of the car moving quickly along gorgeous California canyon roads.
But this also gave our author and editors time to read through the hundreds of comments left on that original Mustang review. You readers are indeed a vocal bunch, and one particular comment about how the automotive media is so willing to bash an outgoing car as soon as the new one arrives really caught our attention. In this video, Ramsey stands by his written text, saying the new Mustang is "massively better than the one it replaces," and in doing so, addresses your comments while providing more insight into just how good the Ford truly is.

Watch this lead sled go rallying in Finland
Thu, 19 Jun 2014Custom cars generally fit into neat little boxes in terms of how they are used. For example, you're unlikely to see a modded Corvette going rock crawling; it's just not what it's made for (though we bet it'd look awesome, for a minute). In the same way, chopped, channeled and customized '50s hot rods aren't really meant to go racing. They look great and go fast, but they are generally more cruisers than sports cars.
However, if this video is any indication, the people of Finland don't adhere in these stereotypes, because this rodder is happy to play in the dirt with his lead sled.
According to the video, the driver is a member of the Ford-Freak Club of Finland, and he clearly knows how to have some fun. Possibly inspired by his country's great rally drivers, he gets the tail way out going around this gently curving gravel track. The stunt is somewhat reminiscent of the stock cars races on the sand at Daytona Beach, and this is probably close to what it sounded like too. Motor Trend pits Camaro 1LE vs Mustang with Performance Pack, surprises ensue

Over the next several months, you're likely to be inundated by every outlet's muscle car comparison, whether it be the turbocharged Ford against the V6 Chevy, a V8-powered convertible comparo or what we have here, a competition between each vehicle's performance upgrade.
Motor Trend has pitted the Camaro SS 1LE against a Mustang with the GT Performance Pack for a comprehensive series of comparisons on the test stage, street and finally, at Willow Springs with ace Randy Pobst behind the wheel. As per usual, we aren't about to spoil this one for you.
