Only 85,550 miles. These Ford Tauruses are often good for over 200,000 miles.
Passed inspection in June. Original owner was my mom who left me the car in her will recently.
Power windows, power locks, power steering, power seats, cruise control, tilt-steering, AM/FM/Cassette player, excellent air conditioning, automatic transmission. Four good tires.
Good condition overall. It's a great car that never gave my mom any problems whatsoever, but will need to replace the water pump and coil pack to make it run perfectly -- estimated cost: $100 - $200 for brand new parts and about $200 - $300 for labor.
The interior is in good shape. There's a small couple-inch dent on the passenger side rear door from an anonymous 2005 grocery store parking lot incident -- it's very minor so she never bothered to fix it. There's also also a scratch related to same that she never bothered with. There are a few other very minor blemishes on the body, but nothing serious. There's some very slight rust just above the rear wheels as you can see in the photos, but none at all over the front wheels.
The Ford Taurus is a great car, and this one will give its second owner many good and reliable years of service.

Mustang GT350 reveal coming Nov 17?
Mon, 03 Nov 2014Ford looks to have something really big planned for the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The Blue Oval has released the first of five teaser videos on the brand's performance heritage, and aside from some great images of racers over the years, the video includes a series of teaser images, the last of which points to November 17, 2014.
That's the day before press days open in LA, and considering the propensity of global automakers to plan lavish debuts the night before a major international auto show, it's a virtual certainty that Ford will be showing off some sort of special vehicle.
That'd be news in and of itself, but based on the images shown in Ford's teaser video - which include an Alcantara steering wheel, a "Powered by Ford" valve cover, aluminum pedals, sticky tires, a big, round exhaust tip, a honeycomb grille and a serious set of wheels - it seems very likely that Ford will be showing something performance oriented.
Ford Focus Electric and ST recalled over lighting issue
Mon, 12 Aug 2013Ford is recalling 6,308 units of the 2012 and 2013 Focus Electric and 2013 Focus ST that were fitted with HID headlights because a "wiring incompatibility" could keep the front side marker lights from working. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the recall should begin in the middle of this month, after which owners can take their cars to dealers to have the wiring assembly repaired free of charge.
You can find more information in the NHTSA bulletin posted below.
