OK, I have too many projects, time for this one to find a new home.  I've sunk over $2500 into this car just in parts.  I have replaced the following:

y-pipe with catalytic converters
2 O2 sensors
Front and rear quick struts
Front ball joints
Tune-up
New front pads and rotors

Car easily passes emissions testing.  Car will not pass safety inspection.  Needs work on the front aprons (areas near strut towers) and rocker panels.  Passenger rear quarter also needs a patch around gas door.  Car runs AMAZING!  This thing is surprisingly fast.  I really wanted to finish the restoration, just don't have the time.

IF YOU WANT THE RIMS IN THE PICTURE THEY WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL $500 ONTOP OF THE FINAL PRICE!  RIMS IN PICTURE ARE NOT INCLUDED!!!!  I HAVE THE ORIGINAL SHO RIMS WITH TIRES THAT HOLD AIR (BUT ARE BAD) INCLUDED IN THE SALE.  MAKE NO MISTAKES, I WILL NOT INCLUDE THE RIMS IN THE PICTURES UNLESS YOU PAY EXTRA!!!!  NO SHIPPING!  NO SAFETY INCLUDED!  CAR IS AS-IS WHERE IS AND YOU MUST TRAILER IT!!!

Ford Ranger-based 7-seat SUV spotted testing

Wed, 29 May 2013

Ford looks to be working on a new SUV version of its global Ranger pickup truck. An early prototype of a seven-passenger SUV based on the Ranger has been spotted testing in Australia, and word has it buyers in the region could expect to see the model in showrooms as soon as 2014, where it could sail under the Endeavour or Everest badges. Ford Australia currently sells the Territory SUV, so there's some chance that this model could be a successor to that throne, as well.
Whatever it's called, the long-roof Ranger will feature a shorter wheelbase and more ground clearance than its pickup twin, giving the machine a bit more off-road functionality. (And here we thought we couldn't want the global Ranger any more than we already do.) While this particular vehicle sports a Territory back half grafted onto a Ranger front end, odds are a public reveal of the finished product could occur as soon as the second half of 2014, making it a 2015 model. Head over to Carsguide.com.au for a closer look.

FL man fatally shot after urging driver not to do donuts in a Mustang

Tue, 18 Nov 2014

Bradley Holt (pictured), the older half-brother of University of South Florida freshman quarterback Quinton Flowers, was killed in a random act of violence last week.
The 24-year-old Holt was throwing a football around with local kids in Allapattah, a neighborhood in Miami, when a yellow Mustang showed up and started doing donuts in the street. Holt, worried about kids playing in front his apartment complex, walked over to the driver and asked him why he was "driving so crazy with so many kids out here?"
The driver left. Holt's sister said the driver came back "about 15 to 20 minutes later" and fired two shots at Holt. One of them hit Holt in the back of the head, killing him.

Mulally wanted to kill Lincoln as late as last year, Fields vows to turn it around

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

Lincoln fans might want to give incoming Ford CEO Mark Fields a pat on the back for having a hand in saving the brand from the chopping block last year. He's among the people spearheading the rejuvenation of the division away from its stodgy image to appeal to younger customers.
According to two unnamed sources speaking to Bloomberg, CEO Alan Mulally was ready to kill Lincoln last year. Following the slow production ramp-up of the MKZ combined a with a costly ad campaign, Mulally was frustrated and openly suggested dropping the brand. However, Fields and Jim Farley, Ford's marketing boss, convinced the CEO that the brand was worth saving. They also created a plan to prevent similar problems for new models in the future.
It seems that one part of the strategy may involve waiting until new models are at dealers before starting a big ad campaign for them. Lincoln global director, Matt VanDyke, recently told Autoblog that the division is holding off on a full marketing push behind the new MKC crossover to prevent the supply problems that plagued the MKZ last year. Its big offensive begins in the fall when the CUVs are at all of the dealers and consumers are at home watching more TV. VanDyke also told Bloomberg that Fields, Farley and Joe Hinrichs, Ford president of the Americas, have more direct oversight over new product launches now.
