if you have any questions here is my phone number 954-275-4036

this is a factory diesel ranger

truck is being relisted due to buyer not being aware of truck being a long bed(7ft factory bed)

please read the description and payment and shipping before bidding

this is my daily driver and needs nothing at all

This is a very rare Diesel   ford ranger, built by the factory, to have a 2.3 Turbo Diesel engine, with a 4x4, and 5 speed manual transmission, the truck does not have ac

Also rare, is the fact that it is a XLT version, very few built.

The body is in great shape, there was rust around the back wheel wells, but the box has been replaced, with a rust free bed.  The body, as you can see by the pictures, is in great shape.

The engine has very low miles, and the diesel engine runs as it should. I had it cruising today at 85mph, runs superb.

The 4x4 and the manual transmission work fine, and shift fine, without issues.

This is a very reliable truck, it is used as a daily drive. I have driven the truck long distances already, without problems.i usually drive 100 miles a day

The brakes are new, front end was done recently, tires are in great shape, all glass is good, interior is in good shape, everything works and i mean everything!

Please do not bid, unless you are intending on buying the truck.  Please ask all questions before you purchase the truck.  After the auction ends, you will be required to follow through with the purchase.  There will not be an opportunity to check out the vehicle afterwards, be satisfied with the vehicle before you commit to the purchase, therefore ask away, and I will try to answer the best that I can.  The truck is being sold as is, where is, no warranties expressed or implied.

I can also arrange delivery within the U.S., if interested please send your zip code, and I can give you a quote.

1964 Ford GT40 prototype to be auctioned in April

Wed, 12 Mar 2014

The Ford GT40 owns a firm spot on the list of the greatest American racecars ever made, being the first car from the United States to take an overall win in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. And now Mecum will auction what it claims is second-oldest GT40 still in existence at its Houston sale on April 12.
The story of the GT40 is fascinating. Henry Ford II attempted to buy Ferrari in the early '60s, but Enzo refused. Ford decided if he couldn't have them, then he would beat the Prancing Horse on the track. Ford went to Carroll Shelby and asked him to spearhead the program. The early cars combined a steel monocoque chassis with Ford's 4.2-liter V8 engine pumping out around 350 horsepower. The first prototype made its public debuted on April 1, 1964, at the New York Auto Show.
Shelby kept building prototypes, including GT/104, which is for sale here. This version featured a lighter steel chassis and was raced at Le Mans in 1964. However, a fire forced it to retire. It was then repainted and had a 4.7-liter (289-cubic-inch) engine fitted. The chassis had its best finish at the 1965 Daytona Continental 2,000 Kilometers where it finished third with Bob Bondurant and Ritchie Ginther behind the wheel. Later that season, it was shipped back to Ford where it was restored and displayed at auto shows until 1971 when the automaker sold it. Since then, it has had many private owners.

Ford Mustang GT350 seen and heard in motion for the first time

Fri, 27 Sep 2013

We just recently saw our first spy shots of the next-gen hi-po Ford Mustang slated to replace the Shelby GT500, but now we're getting our first look - and listen - of prototypes captured on video. Mustang6g.com has the video (along with some different spy shots), which show that, if nothing else, SVT knows how to tune an exhaust system. The :50 mark is a good example of this, but fast-forward to around 2:00 where the driver revs the engine and really gets on the throttle hard taking off from a stop.
There's still no definitive evidence that the next-gen SVT Mustang - said to be called GT350 - will be naturally aspirated, but it sounds just as menacing as the current Shelby GT500. While the video posted below exhibits the sort of quality that is to be expected from someone driving while trying to film someone who is attempting to elude being filmed, it's still exciting to see and hear this new Mustang in motion.

2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost flogged and analyzed by Ignition

Mon, 13 Oct 2014

Aside from the way it looks and perhaps its independent rear suspension, the biggest bit of news on the 2015 Mustang may be the inclusion of its 2.3-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine. That blown mill marks the first time since the Mustang SVO of the '80s that a turbo has been fitted under the engine of Ford's pony car.
The Mustang EcoBoost is the subject of the latest episode of Ignition from Motor Trend, giving us a great look at the technical, nitty-gritty side of the turbocharged coupe. Covering it from bow to stern, host Carlos Lago walks us through the boosted Ford before taking to the track for some driving impressions, with particular praise given to the low-end grunt of the 2.3-liter mill.
Check out the full video and then let us know which 2015 Mustang has your interest piqued the most - the EcoBoost four, the 5.0L V8 or the entry-level V6.
