2007 Ford Ranger Xlt Only 13,680 Miles Southern Truck = No Rust Or Salt on 2040-cars
Sharpsburg, Georgia, United States
I am listing this for my grandfather. It is a 2007 Ford Ranger, ext cab, white, gray interior, V6/Auto,3.0 engine, power everything, keyless entry, bedliner, step bars. This truck is AMAZINGLY clean from the inside and out. Even the undercarriage doesn't even look like it has ever seen rain. My grandfather is the second owner. The first owner was a 92 year old guy. It has been garage kept since new and very well taken care of. You won't be disappointed! There are a few little parking lot door dings on the drivers side door (you can't notice them just looking at it, but if you get from a certain angle you can tell), but overall it is immaculate as you can see from the pictures! It is also for sale locally and we do have the right to end the auction if it sales locally. I can take calls at Six7 Eight 7eight7 sixty9sixty9. Please remember that I am eastern time when considering calling me.
I have 100% feedback for a reason! The truck is located about 30 minutes south of the Atlanta Airport. It was brought to my attention that autocheck shows in 2010 that the miles were 76,6??. Whoever at the DMV or wherever this mileage was put in, clearly hit 6 one too many times. That is an error by them and the miles are truly 13,680! |

Ford's J Mays feels vindicated by Fusion reception
Tue, 25 Sep 2012It's hard to think back now, but the same man overseeing the design of the 2013 Ford Fusion also presided over a rather lackluster period in Ford design, highlighted by vehicles like the Five Hundred and Freestyle. With the redesigned Fusion receiving high praise, J Mays tells Automotive News that he feels vindicated from criticisms suggesting he's not a daring enough designer.
When Mays took over as lead of design in 1997, he admits to having quite an ego ("My head would barely fit through the door some days. I've long since gotten over myself") and the workload to match. With the Blue Oval's portfolio full of premium brands like Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo at that point, along with the bread-and-butter Ford, Lincoln and Mercury models, Mays certainly had quite the challenge.
It was in the mid-2000s that Mays took over just the premium brands, and took on the new title of Chief Creative Officer. At the time, Mays endured some criticism for looking backwards to retro styling, rather than setting a new standard for American car design - criticism that Mays says he is free from with the all-new Fusion.
A tribute to William Clay Ford
Tue, 11 Mar 2014The passing of William Clay Ford has been a big event for the company he spent most of his life helping run. Ford spent 57 years working for his family's company. Considering the Blue Oval has been around for over 100 years, WCF's passing is the end of an era for the Dearborn-based manufacturer.
Ford's YouTube channel has issued a short memorial video highlighting the life of the longest-lived grandson of company founder Henry Ford. It follows William Clay from his time as a boy, showing him alongside his grandfather, through his younger years, and into his twilight, as the patriarch of the Ford family.
Take a look below for this touching memorial video on William Clay Ford.
Ford jumps back in the water with marinized 6.2L V8
Wed, 06 Nov 2013Nameplates like the Mercury Mariner and Lincoln Navigator aside, Ford hasn't offered a marine engine in over two decades. But through a new partnership with one of the biggest names in the business, the Dearborn-based automaker is dipping its proverbial toes back in the water.
Announced yesterday at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the new partnership between Ford Component Sales and Indmar Marine Engines will see the 6.2-liter V8 from the F-150 SVT Raptor and F-Series Super Duty marinized for use in boats.
The largest privately owned inboard gasoline marine engine manufacturer in the world, Indmar has been in the business for 43 years, and figures the Ford V8 will be just what watersport enthusiasts are looking for to tow waterskiers and wakeboarders to their hearts' content.
