You are bidding on a very rare 1970 Ford Ranchero GT with its original 'M code' 351 Cleveland 4bbl high performance engine. I am listing this car for a friend that doesn't use a computer much. His name is Gene, and I would recommend calling him directly for questions since it is his car. 541-973-1962. They only made 3,905 GT's this year. About half came with the Cleveland. This car is a barn find that runs and drives. New brake shoes and spring kit on rear, plus new disc pads in the front, as well as a new master cylinder. It may still need a new booster for the brakes to work well. This car is an original A/C car. The compressor is off, but is included. The body is very straight overall. Paint is shiny, but has enough chips and scratches to warrant a respray. I would put it back to the original color which is just under this one layer of paint. Dash cluster needs replaced, and the car comes with a good one. There is a small dent in the right rear, and that tail light has some damage, but there is a good one that goes with the car.

  • ·       351 Cleveland Holley four barrel carb

  • ·       FMX Automatic Transmission

  • ·       Ford 9" rear end

  • ·       Power steering, Power disc Brakes, A/C car

  • ·       True M Code GT car

  • ·       Nice extra Dash Cluster included

  • ·       Nice extra Front Bumper

  • ·       Original color was Grabber Green

  • ·       Remote adjust side mirror

  • ·       Dual exhaust W/ full length headers - needs new gaskets

  • ·       Lights, turn signals all work

  • ·       Needs windshield wiper motor

  • ·       New shoes, disc pads and Master Cylinder

  • ·       Glass and trim in nice shape all around

  • For more info call Gene @ 541-973-1962

This Ranchero would be a great car you could drive and restore at the same time. The collector value can only go up on such a low production, popular classic. I am selling a 1966 Ranchero that I personally restored that is also listed on E-bay right now. As with any used car it will be sold "as-is", and will come with a clear, numbers matching Oregon state title. The car will need to be paid for within 7 days of auction ending. Checks will need time to clear before car is picked up. Again, I am only the middleman on this car, so give Gene a call if you would like to know more. Thanks

2015 Ford F-150 specs revealed, EcoBoost 2.7L to make 325 hp and 375 lb-ft [w/video]

Tue, 22 Jul 2014

Our new man Greg Migliore is in attendance at a Ford media event at the Blue Oval's Dearborn, MI headquarters today, and he's reported in with a handful of the 2015 F-150 stats that we've been dying to know. Ford is slow-playing the news release here, but we can still offer up some interesting output and performance figures after half-year of waiting.
We have all be quite aware that Ford's shift to aluminum construction would save a lot of weight for F-150 models, and the results we're hearing now are duly impressive. For instance: in Super Crew trim, a 2015 F-150 is a whopping 732-pounds lighter than was its closest 2014-model-year equivalent. That's like hauling three middle-aged dudes to your bowling alley's league night for free. Polish your balls, guys.
Ford isn't willing to offer up any actual curb weights just yet, but if we take that 732-pound loss and extrapolate with the 5,128-pound curb weight of the 2014 F-150 Super Crew with the 3.7-liter V6, we can guesstimate that 2015 models will measure out in the 4,400-pound range. That's impressive.

This unique '64 Mustang was Edsel Ford II's first car

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

You probably had the same dream when you were a teenager. Your sixteenth birthday is coming up, or Christmas, or maybe both, and all you want is a muscle car to call your own. That dream has come true for some, and one of them was none other than Edsel Ford II.
Henry Ford's great grandson turned 16 on December 27, 1964 - two days after Christmas and eight months after the original Mustang went on sale. And that's just what was waiting for him in the driveway, courtesy of his father (and reigning chief executive) Henry Ford II.
The specially-prepared pony car had a pearlescent cream paintjob with narrow blue racing stripes, functional hood scoop, chrome trim, Euro-spec fender-mounted mirrors, a blue leather and aluminum interior, a monogrammed fuel cap... and a 289-cubic-inch V8 under the hood.

Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th

Tue, 15 Apr 2014

It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.
