This truck belonged to my Grandfather, he purchased it in 1968 and has owned it ever since, it has been kept in the garage it's whole life This is a beautiful rare truck! All numbers are matching 1965 Ford Falcon Ranchero Deluxe 66H with factory bucket seats, only 990 ever produced, includes rare Mustang GT rims with brand new tires, there is no rust anywhere on it. It has a newly rebuilt transmission with under 200 miles on it, factory original ford 4.7 liter 289 V8 with electronic ignition, just professionally rebuilt and painted using correct periodicity factory Ford paint. The interior is in absolutely fantastic condition. The dash pad has 1 small crack in it and it could use a new headliner, the carpet and dashboard are in great shape. The exterior paint is ok but if I were to keep it I would have it painted .Also the stock radio antenna needs to be replaced. There is no bondo anywhere on the truck, the front bumper has a small ding, along with a small ding on the hood. My grandfather passed away in 2006 and I have owned it since, 2006 until now it has been garage kept, I have only driven it maybe a couple hundred miles total since owning it. Motor rebuild was done July 2012 transmission was completed back in 2009. I really do not want to part with this heirloom but in need of the money.

The Ranchero runs and drives like a dream, lots of fun, and receives tons of attention every time I drive it, the title is clear.

Leno chooses his top 10 Mustangs

Sat, 14 Jun 2014

He may be a few months late to the party, but in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang, Jay Leno has delivered a short video in which he runs down which of the Blue Oval's pony cars from the past 50 years are his favorites.
The list is pretty darn similar to our own, with some of the big names from the Mustang's half century making an appearance, while there are three or four cars here that we think you'll be pretty surprised by.
Take a look below for this short video from Jay Leno's Garage.

Ford finally issues recall for 230K minivans over rust problems

Sun, 10 Mar 2013

The rust issue in the rear wheel wells of 2004-2007 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans has finally led to a recall. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began an investigation into the matter in 2011, said investigation being upgraded to an engineering analysis a year later while NHTSA tried to figure out how many model years should be included in the assessment.
Ford has decided to recall all of the 230,000 minivans potentially affected, namely those sold in salt-belt states and countries like Canada. The excess rust in the rear wheel wells was also able to prevent the third-row seats from locking to the floor of the minivan. To repair the problem, owners can take their minivans to dealers, and the dealers will place new panels in the wheel wells, replace the third-row seat mounting brackets and relocate the latches to an area away from any corrosion.
Ford says it will begin notifying owners during the last week of March.

2015 Ford Focus ST gets sleeker style, improved dynamics

Thu, 26 Jun 2014

The Brits don't really have a major auto show these days. Not in a conventional sense, anyway, with stationary vehicles under floodlights in a closed exposition space. What they do have, you could argue, is much better: the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where the public can view the latest machinery not only under an open sky, but in motion as well, speeding up Lord March's front lawn. And this year, British automakers are rolling in with some very enticing new metal.
In the past few days alone we've confirmed the McLaren 650S GT3 and MSO, Jaguar F-Type Project 7, Range Rover Sport SVR and Ariel Ace will all be revealed for the first time at Goodwood this weekend. Ford isn't, strictly speaking, a British automaker, but for all its history in the UK, it might as well. So it's chosen Goodwood as the site to unveil its refreshed Focus ST.
The upgraded Blue Oval hot hatch still packs a 2.0-liter turbo four with 252 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque driving through a six-speed manual to the front wheels, so we're not expecting much change in measurable performance. But Ford has given the new Focus ST a new front suspension setup and a new electric power-assisted steering rack that combine to promise improved handling.
