1934 Ford truck. This is a drive anywhere hot rod. Very dependable. Only selling because I am building other cars. It was an old 60's build that had been redone several years ago by my buddy. It is chopped 4 inches and channeled 6 inches. swing out windshield works and all windows roll up and down (yes they are yellow tinted) I got it from him with no motor, trans, driveline, radiator, etc. 3 years ago. I built a sbc 350 with World Products SR Torquer heads, comp hydraulic cam, gear drive, cal custom valve covers, vintage offy intake with 6 two barrels.. (it is only running off 2 centers right now.. could run off all 6 if set up progressive linkage but I never needed to) Vintage Vertex tach drive magneto, etc.. Has rebuilt turbo 350 auto trans, rebuilt posi 9" with great freeway gears, new fuel tank, new radiator, all drum brakes have new wheel cylinders and shoes. interior has autometer gauge, oldsmobile steering wheel, vintage shift knob, dual bucket seats, vintage military seat belts on both sides, amp mounted behind seat to plug in phone, ipod etc through two kick panel mounted speakers. Entire inside is covered in dynamat with floor and back panel carpeted, body has some small issues here and there but nothing crazy.. This truck has made many 1100 mile round trips.. rear wheels are vintage M/T Radir with Hurst cheater slicks, front wheels are steel chrome smoothy with BFG silvertowns. Tires all in good shape. rear suspension is coil spring with shock and 4 bar, front is tube axle with transverse leaf. It has original BLC headlights and 50's olds tail lights. Snap on rear bed cover to keep your stuff dry. Fuel tank is mounted below rear of bed hidden by a louvered roll pan. If this truck does not hit reserve I am going to pull the engine and vintage parts and resell it with a bare bones sbc350 and newer parts.. It is titled as a 1932 Ford pickup but the body detail shows that it is a 1934 ford cab.. it has been this way through the last couple owners over 20 years. The fuel gauge works but is not hooked up to current tank. I do not want trades unless it is a late 30s-40s 2 door coupe. Ask any and all questions before bidding. Your bid is a binding contract.. Can view more cars and pics of this truck at my website. www.bearmetalkustoms.com This is my daily driver. just looking to get something else now.....

Ken Block and friends race light in silly-beautiful Castrol commercial
Wed, 28 May 2014How does one make fast, loud, drifting cars better? Well, you can add more fast, loud, drifting cars or you can add lasers. Either or, really. In this case, Castrol did the right thing and added both, creating a highly stylized commercial for its Edge Titanium motor oil starring South African racer Adrian Zaugg, BMW factory driver Augusto Farfus, Audi DTM and Le Mans staple Mike Rockenfeller and some bloke named Ken Block.
Their cars? No surprise, but Block is in his Ford Fiesta GRC, while Zaugg samples a Lamborghini Aventador and Farfus and Rockenfeller drive along party lines, with a BMW M4 and an Audi R8, respectively. And those cars look good, too, thanks to the creative light and laser work on display.
Take a look below for the video from Castrol.
Ford S-Max Concept previews new look, technology for Euro seven-seater
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Ford unveiled today the S-Max Concept, which comes with a new, sleek look and loaded with innovative technology, such as a heart-rate monitoring seat. But if you're heart is set on a minivan sports activity vehicle (SAV) and you live in the States, don't wait for this one - it's a Europe-only product, and we don't expect that to change when the next-gen S-Max is released.
The styling follows Ford's global design language, looking a bit like an overgrown Focus hatchback with the company's signature grille, wraparound headlamps, steeply raked windshield and curved roof line. Ford also implemented details to make the S-Max look longer and faster, such as a feature line on each side of the vehicle and muscular-looking fenders. The engine isn't Ford's most powerful, but the new 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine should be potent enough with turbocharging and other efficiency related technologies.
Ford says the new interior, which seats up to seven people, features high-quality materials and fine detailing, such as an "ultra-soft" leather wrap for the instrument panel and leather and carbon-fiber details on the seats. Ford's Sync connectivity system with MyFord Touch makes the car a wireless hotspot, and there's a tablet docking station for second-row occupants.
Ford shows off V8-powered Ranger headed to Dakar Rally
Tue, 30 Jul 2013Avert your eyes now if you're jealous that the global version of the Ford Ranger is not offered in the US. Ford's midsize pickup is being tuned up to take on the 2014 Dakar Rally, and the result is a truck that is probably even cooler than any F-150 SVT Raptor we've ever seen in the States. Ford is actually building two versions of the truck for Dakar, which will run from January 5 through January 18, covering more than 5,000 miles from Argentina to Chile.
Starting with a fully composite body and a 5.0-liter V8 plucked from a Mustang, nearly every aspect of the trucks have been purpose built to take on the grueling race. This includes things like the six-speed sequential gearbox, liquid-cooled rear brakes and the 132-gallon fuel tank. As proof that Dakar is more about endurance than speed, the engines used in these race trucks will be limited to around 350 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, and will max out at a top speed of just 105 miles per hour. Scroll down for Ford's official press release offering more information about the trucks and teams being prepped for Dakar.
