2013 Ford Mustang Gt500 on 2040-cars
Swartz Creek, Michigan, United States
More infos regarding my car at: lelandgerena@netzero.net .
If you are in the market for a GT500 this is the one you want. 2013 was the year it went to 662HP (from a paltry
550 the year before). Other additions for 2013 include standard launch control, Brembo brakes, a one piece
carbon-fiber driveshaft (previous years had a 2 piece drive shaft), quad exhaust pipes and Mustang Track Apps
(showing acceleration, braking and g-force performance) in a new display in the gauge cluster. This car has the
optional SVT Performance package which piles on more upgrades, including a race-tuned suspension and
cockpit-adjustable dampers.
The only option this car does not have is the glass roof. It has the leather Recaro front seats, the upgraded
nine-speaker sound system, the electronics package (hard-drive-based navigation system, HD radio and dual-zone
climate control), the SVT Performance package with unique wheels, a Torsen 3.31 limited-slip differential,
cockpit-adjustable Bilstein dampers, stiffer rear springs and a unique shift knob and the SVT Track Pack with
additional coolers for the engine oil, transmission and differential.
At this point I've had the car for less than 2 months. As you can see from my profile I'm not a car flipper, I'm
only selling it because my wife absolutely hates this car. I made the mistake of driving a little fast with her in
it once and since then she not only won't ride in it but won't let our daughters ride in it either.

2015 Roush Mustang lineup officially revealed
Thu, 02 Oct 2014
Just last week, Saleen revealed initial details of its tuning program for the new Ford Mustang. And now Roush is following suit.
Available in three stages - based on the V6 (RS), EcoBoost (RS1) and V8 (RS2) models - the 2015 Roush Mustangs all feature the venerable Ford tuner's latest R7 aero kit complete with remodeled fascia, five-blade grille, gaping air dam with integrated driving lamps and splitter. Around back there's a one-piece deck spoiler and "race-inspired lower aero-valance."
2015 Ford Mustang gets pricing, configurator and less weight than expected
Fri, 13 Jun 2014It's here; it's finally here. No more speculating or looking at dealer order guides, the configurator for the 2015 Ford Mustang is finally online. That means you should put down whatever you're doing and build your new 'Stang. Weight data for the new model has also leaked out, and while there is an increase, it's less than previously rumored.
The basic V6 coupe carries a base price of $23,600, plus an additional $825 destination charge for all models. Upgrading to the 2.3-liter Ecoboost costs $25,170, and the Ecoboost Premium is $29,170. If you need a V8 in your life, the Mustang GT is $32,100 or $36,100 with the Premium package. That puts the starting price up about $1,000 over the previous generation for the V6, but the turbocharged four-cylinder starts about $1,400 less than the V6 Premium, which is no longer available. Prices for both V8 models jumped about $1,000, as well.
If you need the convertible Mustang, the V6 starts at $29,100, excluding destination, $1,590 more than last year. The Ecoboost Premium 'vert is $34,670, and the GT droptop is $41,600.
A closer look at the 2015 Ford F-150
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Despite having to share Ford's Detroit Auto Show stand with the hot new 2015 Mustang, the brand-new F-150 was arguably an even more important debut. Why? Ford moved some 700,000 examples of its F-Series truck in 2012, making it not only the best-selling pickup truck, but the top-selling vehicle in the US, by a long-shot.
The 2015 F-150 raises the bar for pickup trucks in a big way, with big-time use of aluminum. Because of this, roughly 700 pounds have been removed from the truck's overall weight, making it even more efficient than before, while still offering all of the capability that pickup owners expect. And with a host of engines under the hood, including a new 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, the 2015 F-150 will surely offer something for everyone.
During the Detroit Auto Show, west coast editor Michael Harley took a closer look at the new F-150, talking to some of the truck's engineers. Have a look at the full video, below.
