This is a GREAT car!!!  It is one owner and all original!  This 1971 Mustang Mach 1 is as nice as any other available!  The Cleveland 351 has only 35,966 original miles and as you can see an amazing bright red color (only 404 Mach 1's came with these paint/trim codes)!!!  It comes with an Automatic Transmission (FMX Select-Shift Cruise-O-Matic), Air Conditioning (the belt has been removed since purchase and does not work, but could with belt replaced), Power Steering, Tinted Glass, Vermilion Ruffino/Corinthian Vinyle Bucke Seats (Bright Red), AM Radio, Mustang Mach Sportsroof, and 3.00 Conventional Rear Axle.

This car has always been garaged and still have the original invoice that states that a 1966 Ford Mustang was traded in for this Mach 1 (very cool)!!!  The car has had a new battery and tires replaced on it in the last year.  It does a two small chips in the paint in the front of the car, but very minor and the gas gauge just recently stopped working and I am not sure why, but don't think it is anything major.

With the purchase of this car, you will recieve a Deluxe Marti Report that has everything you need to know about this amazing muscle car!!!

A $1000 deposit via PayPal is required within 48 hours of auction end.  Full payment under the same method is required within 7 days of auction end.  The buyer is completly responsible for pick up and transportation!  This car is also for sale locally and the auction can end at any time.  Thank you for looking at this amazing car and good luck bidding!!!

Ford Fiesta ST gets worked out on the track

Sun, 10 Mar 2013

We're big fans of the turbocharged Ford Focus ST, and we're plenty excited that the Blue Oval will be offering a similar treatment on the smaller Fiesta here in the United States, too. We first saw the production-ready Fiesta ST five-door at the Los Angeles Auto Show last fall, and Ford has now released this video of a Euro-spec three-door ST being flung around the track.
But not just any track - the challenging Track 7 of Ford's Lommel Proving Grounds in Belgium. The course features 20 turns and plenty of elevation changes along its 2.7-mile loop, and David Put, a vehicle dynamic specialist at Ford, shows just how good the pint-sized Fiesta ST is at handling the lot, even getting the smallest ST up on three wheels every now and then.
It sure does look like a lot of fun, and makes us really eager for our chance to try this ourselves. Scroll down to see the hot little Ford getting busy.

Solid axle? What solid axle?
I was fully prepared to embark on a seven-day journey down a rabbit hole of broken bolts, internet hearsay and consternation.
This should not have gone this easily. Having a long and checkered history of simple projects punctuated by much wailing and gnashing of knuckles, I was fully prepared to embark on a seven-day journey down a rabbit hole of broken bolts, internet hearsay and consternation when I finally decided to lay hands on the '89 Mustang with the goal of relieving the car of its stock rear axle. Instead, it took less than a full morning's worth of work to carve the old 7.5-inch solid axle from its moorings and mock up something, well, different.

This Or That: Fiat 500 Abarth vs. Ford Fiesta ST [w/poll]

They're pretty darn similar. And yet our views are oh so different.
If you guys could read the transcripts of our editors' chat room, you'd know that we're a pretty argumentative bunch. It's always good-spirited stuff (well, usually), but when we're not obsessively covering this or that, we're usually fighting about one car being better than another. We're all enthusiasts here, and our automotive tastes run the gamut from the weird and unusual to the decidedly mainstream - we all feel strongly about specific cars in a given segment. While it usually makes for good conversation, if we're passionate enough, it can turn into a tomato-throwing showdown.
