This is a very nice garage find 1970 Fastback Mustang 351 Windsor Auto runs and drives great.New brakes rad,battery, and interior all panels are good.The trunk and floor pans are in great shape. .It comes with the orginal ford in-dash fm..This is a real #s matching car with 89000 orginal miles. That rattles the fenders when its sitting there hitting a lick with the 3 inch dual exhaus.t.It does need a paint job.Its had one repaint 20 years ago and its starting to bubble up in a few little spots plus the clearcoat is pealing off the hoodscoop. Nothing but surface rust.You will also want to get a new set of tires.The ones on it are starting to dryrot because they are about 20 years old..This is a good solid running old Mustang that doesnt smoke or knock.I am selling this for an old friend that lives in Nashville Tn. and you will have to pick it up there. 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid recalled over lack of roof padding
Mon, 29 Jul 2013Ford is recalling 33,021 units of its 2013 C-Max Hybrid not equipped with optional panoramic roof panels. During testing, the model in question returned testing results for occupant head injuries that fell outside of criteria laid out in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. The issue puts occupants at greater risk of injury in the event of a crash if they are in an affected car.
The recall will begin August 19, at which time C-Max Hybrid owners can take their cars to dealers to have energy-absorbent material installed between the headliner and roof. The bulletin below from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has more information.
Ford posts record pre-tax Q3 profit of $2.6B
Thu, 24 Oct 2013Ford took in $2.6 billion in pre-tax profits in the third quarter of the year, making for a record trio of months that saw the Blue Oval's year-over-year earnings increase by $426 million. The earnings are being attributed not just to improvements in North American sales, but sales around the globe.
Revenue was up 12 percent, to $36 billion, although net income took a hit, dropping $359 million to $1.3 billion. Ford was dinged with $498 million in pre-tax charges, which are being blamed for the drop in net income.
The news has boosted Ford's hopes for full-year results, bumping it's total profits up past $8 billion, according to Automotive News. The Dearborn, MI-based manufacturer is still expecting a loss in Europe, although it's forecasted less than the $1.73 billion it burned in 2012. In fact, according to CFO Bob Shanks, Ford's European losses dropped by 51 percent year-over year, a huge improvement for the brand.
