I have a 1969 galaxie 500 country sedan. I am the 3rd owner. It sat in a garage for years before the owner before me bought it. I have known the previous owner for many years and he is a excellent mechanic. It's very solid as you can see and was driven daily up till i bought it this year so the breaks and suspension and steering are all in good shape. I couldn't get under the car to get pics but it is very solid also. There is a rust hole about the size of a 50 cent piece in the bottom of the spare tire holder. There is still factory paint on the bottom side of this car. That doesn't mean its absolutely perfect. There is a little rust on the floor that a sander and paint would take care of but no metal replacement is needed. Its very solid. What you see is what you get. I didn't even clean it up yet. There is NO engine or trans in it. Thats how i bought it. You can bolt in any ford motor you want from a straight 6 to a 460 big block and literally bolt it in. The fender wells are in good shape, Even the factory vacuum canister is still intact. I was going to put a turbo big block in it but the family has lost interest. I wont let it set around and start going bad. Its too solid of a piece. If you have any questions at all please ask. I try to check email a couple time a week but don't get to check it every day. You can call or txt me also if there is any more detailed pics you would like to get.
This car is for sale locally also so the auction can end at any time so if your seriously interested get a hold of me and lets make a deal. Cash is King
Thanks for looking and bidding

Formula Drift kicks off 11th season on Streets of Long Beach
Tue, 08 Apr 2014The 2014 Formula Drift series kicked off last weekend in Long Beach, and saw Chris Forsberg, who you'll recall went mad and drifted around a warehouse in an Infiniti M, take the title behind the wheel of his Hankook Tire Nissan 370Z (shown above).
Forsberg really ran away with the first round of competition, outscoring his closest opponent, second-place finisher Kenneth Moen and his Bridges Racing Nissan 240SX, by 20 points. Third place was 2013 championship winner Michael Essa and his Yokohama BMW M3, 30.5 points behind Forsberg.
In the manufacturers' title, Nissan took an early lead with 122 points, which isn't a huge surprise considering five of the top ten drifters were piloting either a Z or a product of the brand's S platform. Ford, which had two drivers (Justin Pawlak and Vaughn Gittin, Jr.) in the top ten, took home second place, while BMW is currently third in the manufacturers' standings.
Ford brings FPV Falcon production in house [w/video]
Thu, 21 Feb 2013For the first time since 1976, Ford of Australia is bringing the assembly of its stonking Ford Performance Vehicle line back in-house to the company's Broadmeadows and Geelong facilities. That's a point of pride for FPV, which builds high-performance versions of the Australian Falcon model like the F6, GS and the heroic GT seen here.
In the video below, we hear FPV employees talking in hushed tones about the important legacy that cars like the GT have for Australian gearheads of all stripes, and how proud they are to say that hand-built machines like this GT R-Spec with its Boss 355 engine are now rolling out of their home base. For our part, we're just dying to drive this version of the Coyote V8; the engine is rocking a "Miami" supercharger from Harrop and makes some 450 horsepower.
Continue on below for the video, or you can check out some images of the new FPV at the facility, as well as a gallery of the GT R-Spec car.
Ford cranks up '32 Ford body production
Tue, 14 Jan 2014If you're going to build your own hot rod, you'll want to start with a '32 Ford 5-Window Coupe. Favored by American servicemen returning from World War II, the '32 Ford remains the very icon of the hot rod to this day. The trouble is there were only so many of them made in the first place, and finding one today can be a challenge. That's where reproduction models come in.
The aftermarket is replete with companies that will sell you a fiberglass body in the form of a '32 Ford coupe, but quality can be hit or miss. So to help meet demand among hot rod builders and enthusiasts, Ford has teamed up with United Pacific Industries to offer officially licensed body shells.
Announced at the SEMA show in November, the '32 Ford 5-Window Coupe body is made from stamped steel according to original specifications from original machinery where possible or reproduced machinery built to the same original specifications where necessary. The bodies are ready to accept vintage powertrains or crate motors from the Ford Racing catalog, and join the 9,000 other parts offered in the Ford Component Sales catalog - including similar reproduction bodies available for the 1965-70 Mustang and 1940 Ford Coupe. From there, the proverbial sky's the limit.
