1961 galaxie starliner, red repaint was orignal black. is a good driver , rebuilt auto trans,352 runs good but has cracked exhaust manifolds. orignal desert car first purchased in las Vegas.very little rust, a few specks coming through in drivers door and left rear wheel opening , very small. trunk area and all floors frame are great. duel exhaust almost new new brakes , disc poewr conversion front and new 11" in rears ,new seals, wheel cylinders,shoes, hardware and drums. rebuilt by currie 3.00 trac loc third member, comes with lot of extras, a compleat fresh rebuilt tri power all orignal carbs, rebuilt recurved hp duel point converted to electronic ign. orignal shorty cast h/p manifolds, valley tray and h/p orignal adjustable rockers this is a nice car perfect canidate for easy restoration ,any other questions call me at 928-897-2340 ask for David

2015 Ford F-150 configurator is ready to go to work
Thu, 25 Sep 2014Ford is inching towards the on-sale date for the eagerly anticipated, aluminum F-150 pickup. While we're preparing to drive the new truck (expect our take on it sooner rather than later), the best-seller has reached another, albeit more minor, milestone as its online configurator has officially been switched on.
We took to Ford's consumer website to mess about with it and see just how ridiculous of a truck we can build. Among the fun things we discovered were these two nuggets - the most expensive truck we could configure was not the top-end Platinum model, but instead the King Ranch, which rang up at $65,955. The other exciting discovery? The new truck would be available in a questionable shade called Blue Jeans (shown above with the optional contrasting Caribou paint). Yep, Blue Jeans.

Bacon-wrapped Ford Fiesta hams it up for International Bacon Day
Wed, 28 Aug 2013This is a bacon-wrapped Ford Fiesta. It is a real thing, that a real, multi-billion-dollar company designed. And it isn't even April Fools' Day. Designed for International Bacon Day, which is also apparently a thing, the 2014 Fiesta is finished in Green Envy paint - we're told black paint, like the color of a skillet, made the car look camouflaged - and features 10 gigantic decals depicting strips of tender, cured bacon.
The design, which was approved by the CEO of Benton's Country Hams, Allan Benton, show off the depth of Ford's Custom Graphics program. Unbelievably, Ford will actually start offering bacon decals to everyday customers, including (and we can't believe we're writing this) dual bacon racing stripes which will no doubt have Carroll Shelby spinning and/or salivating in his grave, and a "side of bacon," which wraps a couple of strips over the rear wheels.
Benton, who Ford claims is the King of Bacon, had this to say: "This car just makes so much sense." The Fiesta's marketing manager, Liz Elser added, "It's just awesome to drive down the road in a piece of bacon."

In this episode of Jay Leno's Garage, we get the lowdown on the modifications made to the Ford Explorer for the Interceptor package (which looks pretty tough in its California Highway Patrol livery).
