1960 Ford Galaxie 2 door Club with 75k orign. miles . I am the 3rd owner . It has the orign. 292 solid lifter cam with a 4barrel that I added .The starter and fuel pump and valve stem seals have been replaced . Does not smoke . Has a rebuilt 2 speed automatic . Has new dual exhaust with glass packs (not to loud ) , new interior ,tires , 60s paint job with lace , webbing ,metal flake and apple pearl . The bumpers are triple plated ,all stainless and trim is in really good condition . The 1/4 mouldings are new and the front fender sites are new . The right front turn signal housing is N.O.S. The interior is done in green metal flake and white pearl .The bucket seats are from a 1961 T-Bird and the console is 1965 Olds Starfire with a working tack .The turn signals work but do not shut off by them self , also the horn works but the button is under the dash . Never looked into this because they work . Also the vacumn wipers work great . The rear main seal leaks a little (a regular problem on the 292s ) Car runs cool and drives nice with factory power steering and brakes (drum ) . Has a 1992 Firebird master/power boaster . Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th

It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.

The ST school is about more than just handbrake turns, hot laps, and sliding into parking spaces.
I felt like such a rock star. On my second pass around the UrbanCross course (read: fancy autocross) at the Ford ST Octane Academy, I absolutely nailed the exit, sliding the bright-yellow Focus ST sideways into a box the size of a parking space, all four wheels in line.

Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's Resale Value Awards

Kelley Blue Book announced its annual Best Resale Value Award winners, and we weren't too surprised to see the list dominated by Japanese automakers - mainly Toyota and Honda. KBB hands out the awards based on the projected residual value of mostly all 2013 model year vehicles, and Toyota skated home with a number of awards including 10 of the 22 overall categories and having five of its products in the top 10 for models with best resale value. KBB's Best Resale Value Awards were announced in the same week as the ALG Residual Value Awards, and there were many similarities between both lists, especially when it came to Toyota.
To come up with its winners, KBB measures depreciation over the first five years of ownership, and looks for the cars it expects to hold its value the best after this time; on average, the report says the 2013 model year vehicles will lose 61.8 percent of its value in five years. Of the 22 categories, 15 slots were filled by Toyota, Honda and Nissan products, while the Camaro and Porsche (Cayenne and Panamera) each took home a pair of awards. If Toyota has anything to be upset about in this list of cars, it's that categories for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Car and Electric Vehicle went to the Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Volt, respectively.
