You are looking at a 1968 Ford Falcon Futura 2 Door Coupe.  This is a no reserve auction that I am listing for my neighbor and I will get any and all info from him that you may need.  This car is in a very restorable condition as it is mostly complete and a solid car to start with.  The engine is a 302 possibly out of a mid 1980's Ford Mustang with an automatic trans. behind it.  The motor runs rough but will run and drive.  The motor needs to be timed, tuned and final installation touches done.  Look at the pictures as the car pretty much speaks for itself.  The frame has some rust around the rear leaf spring area that should be a pretty easy patch job, and there is some rust through in the quarters and trunk.  The interior is white and black and seems to be complete except the drivers door panel, but needs to be reupholstered.  The bumpers and some of the grille parts are inside the car.  The wheels and tires are in good shape, and this will roll onto your trailer with no problems.  The odometer is showing 36755.4 but the title says exempt because of the age of the car, so the actual mileage is unknown.  Overall this is a great car to start out with for a rebuild project, or one heck of a nice drag car body!  This car has an open Nebraska title.  Feel free to contact Ryan at 402-310-329seven for any more information.  A $200.00 deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction close, with the remaining balance due within 30 days.  I will accept a personal or business check as long as it is received by me 14 days prior to vehicle pick up, but cash works best!  This car will continue to be stored outside until you come pick it up.  If your not picking this up yourself please give me a minimum of 1 weeks notice of when it will be picked up, and all contact info of the shipper.  Thanks and good luck!

Ford sells 7-millionth Explorer in America

Mon, 17 Nov 2014

Say what you will about the evolution of the Ford Explorer, from roofed Ranger to body-on-frame sport utility vehicle to unibody crossover - the bottom line is that it's been a tremendously successful model for Ford. In fact, the Blue Oval automaker has sold seven million Explorer models in the United States alone.
The milestone, marked nearly a quarter-century after the introduction of the original in 1990, comes on the eve of the introduction of a new Explorer at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week. We don't yet know how the new Explorer will shape up, but we're mere days away from finding out.
Now heading into its sixth generation, the Explorer has formed the basis of Ford's utility lineup for over two decades. The Explorer landed on the market right around the time that the Bronco was trailing off, predating the company's expansion into larger SUVs like the Expedition and Excursion and crossovers like the Escape, Edge and Flex.

Hear the 2015 Mustang GT V8 roar for the first time

Wed, 26 Jun 2013

Our combined knowledge of the 2015 Ford Mustang continues to deepen, as spy shooters have begun to compile video and audio of the upcoming sixth-generation car.
Case in point is this latest series of video clips, which not only gives us a great vantage point of the Mustang in motion, but also allows us to hear the Ford V8 engine and exhaust. After perusing the aural delights of this short video, which, admittedly, doesn't catch the Mustang GT at full song, we can at least say that the throaty exhaust isn't disappointing.
Chances are good that the 2015 Mustang GT will debut with some version of the current (and excellent) Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine, though we're unclear as to whether or not the motor has been massaged for its next-gen debut, or what may have been done to exhaust plumbing. At this point, we're just happy to hear the pony run. Scroll below to hear for yourself.

Curtain officially comes down on Mercury as dealers remove signage

Mon, 03 Jan 2011

The process of shutting down the Mercury is complete. Ford officially made the decision to close its mid-level brand in June of 2010. In the months that followed, Ford offered its dealers money to stop selling the cars, with production shutting down in September. The last Mercury, a Mariner, rolled off the assembly line in the beginning of October and former spokesperson Jill Wagner said her good-byes to both the car and her job. Now the last piece of the brand has come down as dealers are removing any and all Mercury signage from their lots.
