Reluctently I am selling my 1963 Falcon convertible.This is the first year made and only about 4,000 built.Most were six cylinder with colume shift and bench seat.Mine was a limited production factory 260 with padded dash ,four on the floor and bucket seats same as the Mustang.It now has a very low milage rebuilt 67 Mustang 289 (very fast!) The car is in overall good condition but has paint flaws that are noticeable at about five feet.There is a small tear in the top at the bottom drivers side back seat area.I put 14 inch whitewall tires and wheels on it and expensive wire spinner wheel covers.It has Smithy duels with nice sound.Tires are real good.Has manual choke.Car gets a lot of attention wherever I take it! It is not a show car but a fun driver!!

Motor Trend pits Camaro 1LE vs Mustang with Performance Pack, surprises ensue

Over the next several months, you're likely to be inundated by every outlet's muscle car comparison, whether it be the turbocharged Ford against the V6 Chevy, a V8-powered convertible comparo or what we have here, a competition between each vehicle's performance upgrade.
Motor Trend has pitted the Camaro SS 1LE against a Mustang with the GT Performance Pack for a comprehensive series of comparisons on the test stage, street and finally, at Willow Springs with ace Randy Pobst behind the wheel. As per usual, we aren't about to spoil this one for you.

Next-gen Ford Cobra Jet development underway, but will it be a Mustang?
Wed, 09 Oct 2013Ford might be stepping away from the NHRA, but it isn't abandoning drag racing altogether. Hot Rod says that Ford confirmed a next-gen Cobra Jet factory drag racer is in the works, but the report also speculates that a new Cobra Jet could switch away from the Mustang nameplate.
Even though talk of a new Cobra Jet coincides with the all-new 2015 Mustang, the lack of confirmation for the dragster's platform leaves Hot Rod to guess that the car might switch to another platform - specifically a front-drive-based, unibody car like the Fusion or Taurus. We'd hate to think of a world with a NASCAR-ized dragster from Ford Racing, but it's also highly unlikely that the Mustang Cobra Jet would step away from its quarter-mile rivals like the Chevy COPO Camaro and Dodge Challenger Drag Pak.
