2012 FORD F-250 SUPER DUTY LARIAT CREW CAB DIESEL 4X4 WITH 52241 MILES. I HAVE OWNED IT FOR 34 MONTHS. USED AS A EVERY DAY DRIVER AND TO TRAVEL TO SEE OUR SON AT COLLEGE. IT HAS NOT BEEN WORKED LIKE MOST YOU SEE. I ORDERED THE TRUCK NEW , AND HAVE BEEN THE ONLY DRIVER. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN GARAGED KEPT. IT HAS NO PAINT WORK, NO ACCIDENTS, AND NO SCRATCHES IN THE PAINT. TRUCK IS IN MINT CONDITION AND SHINES LIKE NEW INSIDE AND OUT. I AM A NON SMOKER AND THE TRUCK HAS NEVER SEEN A FAST FOOD DRIVE THRU EVER. I DO NOT EAT IN THE TRUCK. MAYBE A BOTTLE OF WATER EVERY NOW AND THEN. NO PETS. THE CARPETS ARE AS NICE AS THE DAY IT WAS NEW. THE TRUCK HAS HAD 8 OIL CHANGES SINCE NEW. IT HAS BEEN TO FORD ONE TIME FOR AN A/C BLOWER MOTOR THAT WAS MAKING A LITTLE NOISE. FORD REPLACED IT. IT HAS NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS EVER. IT HAS NEW MICHELIN TIRES INSTALLED IN AUGUST . THE TRUCK IS TURN KEY. I HAVE BOTH SETS OF KEYS, AND THE OWNERS MANUAL. I HAVE USED THE TRUCK TO PULL OUR 20 FOOT ENCLOSED TRAILER WITH A GOLF CART IN IT AND HAVE TOWED WITH IT A HAND FULL OF TIMES. ONCE AGAIN , I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE TRUCK EVER. i USUALLY BUY A NEW TRUCK EVERY 2 TO 3 YEARS. I ENJOY THE QUALITY OF THE F-250 AND IT RIDES AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN ANY CAR OR TRUCK OUT THERE. FORD BUILDS A BEAUTIFUL TRUCK AS YOU CAN TELL BY THE PICTURES, SO PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT. Toyota, Ford and Honda again top Consumer Reports Car-Brand Perception Survey
Fri, 01 Feb 2013Consumer Reports has released its annual Car-Brand Perception Survey, and the list looks awfully familiar. The top six brands are identical to last year's results, with Toyota, Ford and Honda continuing to occupy the podium. All told, Toyota walked away with 133 points, putting it 15 ahead of second-place Ford. Honda jumped 26 points this year, narrowing Ford's lead to just four points in total.
Consumer Reports polls buyers from across the country on how they see multiple brands in seven categories, including quality, safety, value, performance, design/style, technology/innovation and environmentally friendly/green. Researchers then combine the findings to come up with the total brand score.
While value and performance remain important to buyers, CR found quality and safety are still on top when it comes to significance. Scion and Mitsubishi found themselves at the bottom of the pack with the worst score of all, tied at just six points. Ram, Fiat and Mini filled out the lowest five with scores of seven, eight and 10 points, respectively. Ford Mustang EcoBoost has fake engine soundtrack
Wed, 24 Sep 2014The 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost represents a huge change for the Blue Oval as the first pony car in decades to be available with a four-cylinder engine. But a recent tweet (below) from Road & Track raised our curiosity about the new vehicle. Editor Jason Cammisa pulled a fuse while driving the latest 'Stang with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, and he found that both the stereo and engine went quiet in the cabin. That indicated the coupe might have some form of artificial engine sound being piped in - a feature not previously heavily reported for the model. Autoblog spoke with Ford engineer Shawn Carney who confirmed that only the turbocharged four-cylinder Mustang comes with this system, called Active Noise Control.

With the Pebble Beach festivities kicking off this week, including any number high end car auctions, we thought it would be entertaining to compile a list of some to the most expensive cars ever sold with the bang of a gavel. Trouble is, once you get past the splendor of everyone's favorite Italian sports car maker, that list is pretty boring.
Ferrari dominates the all-time auction sales list; seven of the top ten most expensive cars sold wear the Cavallino Rampante badge, as well as more than half of the top fifty. Sure, a nearly $30-million Mercedes-Benz W196 racecar might be the new top dog as of last year, but it's even possible that Ferrari could take that title back in Monterey this weekend. Long story short: we think a list of the most expensive American cars ever sold at auction is a lot more entertaining to read. Hell, our list has a friggin' Batmobile on it, how can it go wrong?
