2001 Ford f-250 xl 7.3  4x4 with 98,300 miles
Probably the cleanest 2001 7.3 that you will find, i have had the truck for about a year, i bought from original owner it may say 2 owners because he had his father finance  the truck new. this is the Xl model vinyl floors, floor transfer case shifter
manual windows and doors, cruise control, air blows cold heat works as it should, New Sony Cd player, in Cab Banks 6 gun tuner with egt display. I removed stock bench seat, and i purchased a 2006 ford f-250 40-20-40 gray cloth seats with power driver seat ( great upgrade).
Exterior is near perfect no RUST no dents, i replaced the bed and tailgate with a 2012 ford f-250/350 it bolts right on and lines are perfect, the reason i did this is because it had some small rust above wheel wells and i was going to have fixed but the body shop informed that it will come back because ford put a sponge layer between panels, so i found a brand news take off bed tailgate and rear bumper for $2800, and new bed bolts and clips. i had the lower part and rear bumper painted a sterling gray met, I have paint code. i added recon smoked cab lights, a 2006 grill and new smoked head lights. it also has a leer cap $1800 plus
a aluminum roof rack fabricated by far and beyond (bayville NJ) with lower supports for $1300.  Monmouth truck ( Toms River NJ) installed the 6'' rough country lift kit and 37'' tires and wheels and they also installed Mile Marker Premium locking hubs $4000.. I just replaced both batteries and new high torque starter last month, along with new inner and outer drag link, rear brakes complete rotors and pads installed about 4000 miles ago. The previous owner had all 4 ball joints replaced around 85,000 mile mark with greasable joints, he also added a Banks complete exhaust and down pipe with muffler delete pipe, and Afe cold air intake. I also added a 2012 ford rear diff cover with new fluids, rear is 373 ratio with limited slip. This truck drives great turns heads everywhere,
I don't need to sell but i don't use, i commute very far with my car and the truck sits, i will not give away but truck is priced very fair, i do have for sale locally i can and i will remove if sold before auction ends, also I have a clean and clear NJ title in hand..that means this rig will not leave my hands unless cash is in hand or your funds clear, so i suggest cash, any and all questions feel free and ask truck is located in forked river NJ 08731
Thanks

2015 Ford Mustang potentially 'leaked' by Car and Driver

Mon, 28 Oct 2013

Few upcoming debuts have been as eagerly anticipated as the all-new Ford Mustang that's expected to debut shortly as the Mustang's 50th anniversary year approaches. Well, Car and Driver magazine would have us wait no longer as it claims to be leaking Ford's new global pony car early.
Of course what you're looking at is just as likely to be a composite rendering based on what C/D projects the new Mustang to look like, but to our eyes it looks spot on. Combining design traits from the Evos Concept with classic Mustang signatures and Ford's Aston-inspired grille treatment, C/D's images - including a complete 360-degree digital navigator - show a Mustang not only for the modern era, but also for global distribution, taking a quintessentially American car to markets its predecessors were never designed for.
Those global considerations are expected to spell the demise of the outgoing Mustang's holdout live rear axle in favor of an independent suspension, and a slight constricting of the exterior dimensions. And thanks to a separate leak, coming from a digital survey, we have apparent confirmation of what will power the new pony car. While the existing 3.7-liter V6 and 5.0-liter V8 engines will apparently carry over with only slight adjustments in output, the survey confirms a new 2.4-liter turbo four will be positioned in between them, offering slightly more power than the V6 but markedly improved fuel economy for a manageable $560 premium over base.

Alan Mulally talks about why Ford's Falcon had to die

Tue, 20 Aug 2013

When Ford made the decision to end production of the Falcon sedan and Territory CUV in Australia, it wasn't a popular move Down Under. The large, four-door Falcon had been in production for 50 years, and while Ford has reaffirmed its commitment to the Australian market, it's understandable that some people still aren't all that crazy about the Blue Oval's decision.
Speaking to CEO Alan Mulally after Ford's Go Further event in Sydney, Australian site Go Auto reports that the decision was not one made lightly, and that the automaker is doing everything possible to respect the Falcon and Territory's "stakeholders." It's an interesting piece that shows a softer side of a corporation, while demonstrating that Ford is doing everything in its power to make the end of production as smooth as possible for all parties.
Head over to Go Auto for the full series of remarks from Mulally, and then let us know what you think of Ford's handling of the Falcon and Territory discontinuations, in Comments.

Ford-sponsored survey says a third of Brits have snapped a 'selfie' while driving [w/videos]

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

Talking on the phone while driving isn't advisable, and texting while driving is downright dangerous. Considering those truths, the fact that we even need to point this out this is incredibly disturbing: taking "selfies" while behind the wheel is exceptionally stupid. But, it's a thing that a third of 18- to 24-year-old British drivers have copped to doing, according to a new study from Ford.
Ford, through its Driving Skills for Life program, surveyed 7,000 smartphone owners from across Europe, all aged between 18 and 24, and found that young British drivers were more likely to snap a selfie while behind the wheel than their counterparts in Germany, France, Romania, Italy, Spain and Belgium.
According to the study, the average selfie takes 14 seconds, which, while traveling at 60 miles per hour, is long enough to travel over the length of nearly four football fields (the Ford study uses soccer fields, but we translated it to football, because, you know, America). That's an extremely dangerous distance to not be focused on the road.
