I am offering a 2010 Ford F150 FX4 Supercab 4x4 in Flame blue metallic with nearly every option except for the Sony navigation and the sub woofer higher powered stereo. It does have the second to the top sound system and it is fully Ford synch bluetooth capable. It has the full power heated leather seats, power moon roof, power rear slider, power pedals, 20 in wheels, chrome step bars, bed rug, trifold semi rigid tonno cover, towing package, tailgate step, backup parking sensors and camera in the rear view mirror, power pedals, and much more. It currently has 24,500 miles on the odometer. It has pretty much been pampered with oil changes at 3000 mile  intervals, and has seen little driving in conditions that would cause more wear and tear, thus there is little to no windshield pitting and no stone chips in the paint. I have Never been off road, and never towed with this truck. The FX4 has a lower gearing than most other F150 models, so it would be great for some moderate off road driving if you can't afford a beast like the Raptor. There is a super low geared 4x4 lockout mode for if you had to crawl over some rough terrain. The FX4 also has skid plates to protect the underside of the truck. I would rate this truck a strong 9 out of 10 per condition. The only wear item is the tires which you may want to replace when the snow flies again so that you get better traction.

There is also around 3 months, 11,500 miles remaining on the original 3 year factory bumper to bumper warranty. The power train warranty is a longer duration than that I believe.

2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Supercrew

Fri, 15 Mar 2013

I'm not normally a pickup kind of guy, but the 2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor won me over nearly instantly. The street-legal trophy truck - there is really no other way to accurately describe it - is big, brawny and incredibly capable. Let's just say it's every bit the monster it visually portrays. I spent a week pretending I was one of Ford's Baja 1000 drivers, but lacking desert sand, I headed into the local mountains where a mild winter storm had dropped a couple inches of fresh snow on my favorite off-road park. The Ford was, for the most part, practically unstoppable.
Ford offers its SVT Raptor package on Supercab and Supercrew platforms with the five-foot, five-inch bed. The Supercrew I tested rides on a 144-inch wheelbase (about a foot longer than the Supercab). In addition to its cosmetic differences when compared to the standard F-150 - there isn't a young boy on the planet who doesn't think the matte black Ford grille is cool - the Raptor has a 73.6-inch track - nearly seven inches wider than the track on the standard F-150.
After upgrading the F-150 SVT Raptor significantly for the 2012 model year, there are only a few changes for 2013. The list includes standard high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps, Hill Descent Control, forged beadlock-capable wheels, and the new matte Terrain color (aka "Desert Storm") option seen on my test model.

Ford Australia pulls the ol' talking car prank

Mon, 07 Apr 2014

Siri from Apple has proven that being able to talk to your technology doesn't always work perfectly. But what if it could eventually go far enough to give a personality to inanimate objects like our cars? Ford took just this path to comedic effect by playing a prank on many unsuspecting Australians, in a new commercial for its EcoSport compact crossover.
The Aussies seem very nonchalant about having a random parked car talk to them, and they seem surprisingly game when it asks them to get in, call a celebrity and tell a joke. (We're guessing there are some hilarious outtakes, too.) Scroll down to watch some folks from Down Under have a conversation with Ford's CUV.

Ford blamed in drug mule lawsuit

Tue, 30 Jul 2013

If a college student is caught smuggling drugs across the border, one might think the kid got what was coming to him. But when a Mexican student at the University of Texas in El Paso was caught by Border Patrol agents with duffel bags filled with marijuana in his trunk, the man used a classic excuse: He claimed they weren't his.
While a claim like that is almost unbelievable, Ricardo Magallanes, the student, is now suing Ford for handling its vehicles' key codes negligently enough to allow drug smugglers to break into his Ford Focus and stash the drugs, The Daily Caller reports. The twist here is that four other people who lived in Juarez and worked in El Paso were involved in the same type of scheme - allegedly unwittingly, just like Magallanes - and all the cars were Fords except one model from General Motors. FBI agents also found an employee at a Dallas Ford dealership that had accessed the key codes to all four of the cannabis-stuffed Fords.
While we all may not own Fords, the case still causes us slight paranoia. We'll definitely be checking our trunks before we cross any more international borders.
