up for sale is a f150 cab truck with a tube frame from the cab back. with four link rear suspension made from 2x2x1/4" tubing . front and rear stearing is also 2x2x1/4. front and rear axles are 2.5 ton rockwell steering axles. front steers from steering wheel and the rear steers from a switch and an electrical pump mounted behind cab. aluminum fuel cell also is behind the cab. the truck has agricultural drive shafts that arent balanced so it vibrates if you drive over 20 or so, this is a rock crawler for offroad only.1 extra drive shaft is tied under the truck for emergency. when i got the truck i replaced the wheel bearings, dust boots on the axles, the differential bearings and the 1" heim joints on the 4 link rear suspension. wheels and tires are 15" bead lock with 44" swampers in front and 44" boggers in the rear. drive train is factory ford with automatic trans and transfer case with manual stick in floor. interior is good and everything including ac works. there is an x-o-skelatin cage outside the truck. the windsheild is also broke from woods traffic. it was broke when i got it. there is a 8000lb winch on the front.

the right rear axle was broken the last time that i went out and i never fixed it. i can fix it before you pick it up if it is something that you cant fix. the axle is about 350 or so and i wont charge you labor, only what it costs me to fix.you cant tell that it is broke because the axles are locked front and rear and you have to be in a bind to need that kind of traction.
it is a very luxurious truck to hard core 4wheel in. easy to take the family.
i never broke much on this truck and its pretty tough. who ever had it before me used it well, but none of my freinds have trucks this big and its hard to find people to ride with that i know.

you can see the truck climb on youtube.  listed as ,  bobby at windrock. its about a 4 min video and shows some ability for articulation and traction.

feel free to ask questions and i will do my best. thanks for looking

UK auto magazine says this is the best car commercial of all time [w/videos]

Thu, 20 Dec 2012

There have been many great car commercials over the years, but is it possible to define the best? Well, Ad Week recently took a crack at it by rating the top commercials of the year by looking at their view counts on YouTube, but Auto Express took a more democratic approach by putting the decision to a vote. Just after Thanksgiving, Auto Express came up with a list of the 20 popular commercials, and it tasked its readers with choosing the winner for the best car ad of all time. The winner? Honda's 2003 commercial for its then-new European Accord titled "The Cog."
While the ad never aired in the US, most car people have surely seen the impressive Rube Goldberg-style spot. In fact, the only commercial on this list that we saw on US television was the Volkswagen ad "The Force," but many of the others have become viral videos, including transforming and dancing Citroën C4. Of the 19 other commercials that vied for the title of best ad of all time, only the Ford Puma "Steve McQueen" commercial gave Honda a run for its advertising money.
Scroll down to watch Auto Express' top five commercial in order and to check out a press release, then let us know some of your favorite car commercials in Comments.

Hot Wheels Ford Transit Connect is worth more if we keep it in the box

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

If the 2014 Transit Connect is anything like it's utile current-generation predecessor, and we suspect it is, it will undoubtedly be one of the most functional vehicles in North America. Ford has used the occasion of SEMA to turn the TC in to things that both make use of that functionality, and occasionally sort of wreck it in the name of good old-fashioned fun. The Ford Hot Wheels Transit Connect most certainly falls into that second category.
Most TC owners might cite the vehicle's massive cargo capacity as its top positive trait, though in the case of this wide-bodied Transit said space has been sapped in the name of a 55-inch television screen, a massive Hot Wheels drag strip (continuing a popular theme at SEMA this year) and custom storage for dozens of models from one's personal hot wheels collection. Designers have also plucked the grippy Recaro seats from the Focus ST, and thrown in a pair of 18-inch tablet screens for connectivity on the go.
Naturally, the Transit Connect wouldn't be an appropriate SEMA vehicle, or Hot Wheels name-bearer, if it weren't wearing an eye-popping appearance package. Additional homage to the Focus RS can be found in the blazing blue and orange front fascia and bumpers, while 20-inch wheels make sure the wider (four-inches in front and six-inches in the back) Transit Connect sits just right. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder-engine that powers the Hot Wheels TC ensures that the concept is more show than go, but you probably had that pegged from your first look, anyway.

Shelby American cleans house of 14 concept cars

Wed, 25 Jun 2014

Typically when an automaker rolls out a concept car or pre-production prototype, it does its tour and then disappears into the company's archives. Maybe it will be displayed for the public to see in the company's own museum or maybe it will spend most of its time under covers in a warehouse somewhere, but every once in a while, an automaker will open up its history and start selling off its concept cars. For Shelby American, "once in a while" has just rolled around.
The House that Carroll Built is moving from its previous headquarters at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to a new facility off of the Las Vegas strip, and in the process is liquidating fourteen of the rarest cars in its collection. That presents a tremendous opportunity for muscle car collectors to bring one or more of these snakes home.
As you might expect, the catalog is composed mostly of Mustangs, but not exclusively. There's a pair of 289 Cobras: the last of the 50th anniversary slab-sided continuation cars and an original development vehicle, offered at $200,000 apiece. At the other end of the spectrum you'll find the 2013 Shelby Raptor concept for $125k and Focus concept for $50k. And of course there are the Mustangs.
