For sale is a 1967 f100 camper special one year only very rare, this truck has a 352 with a fmx automatic transmission with a dana 44 rear end 3:31 with posi traction. This truck is super rust free as you can tell by the pictures. It has the usual chips, dings, scratches and things that a normal old truck would have, it has a paint job in the past mainly on the blue parts but it shines pretty good. I have installed a new firewall cover and full rubber floor mat,heater core,dash pad, seat upholstery, door panels, windshield rubbers, door seals, a new set of felts come with the truck and I will have the rear bumper installed with new paint. The trim on the truck is rough in places but is all there. The steering gear leaks as does the transmission but mechanically it is very sound. I've had a healthy appreciation for cars that stop since one truly unfortunate incident with a runaway 1971 Lincoln Continental.
It's funny how quickly a party can turn from, "We're all having blast" to "What happened to the front of the house, and how many stitches do you think this is going to take?" Standing in a Mustang salvage shop in Kodak, Tennessee, I couldn't help but feel I had strayed into the latter territory with Ugly Horse. There was a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 plucked from a rear-ended Cobra sitting off to my left. The shelves were lined with second-hand Roush and SVT components galore, but I couldn't stop staring at a set of rotors with the approximate diameter of my chest.
Ford Mustang hit by Moore' Oklahoma's EF5 tornado lives to do another burnout
Fri, 07 Jun 2013Oklahoma recently saw the destructive power of an EF5 tornado, but in the aftermath of the devastation, we've also been witness to the incredible resilience of the human spirit. Moore, OK resident Jack Haden survived the storm but found that his 2003 Ford Mustang wasn't quite as lucky. As you can see in the image above, the tornado's 200+ mph winds did quite a number on the car, but while most people would have likely called their insurance company and scrapped the car, Haden had other plans.
After finding the car and seeing that its V6 still fired up, Haden spent a couple hours getting the car, um... roadworthy(?)... by removing the doors and front clip, cutting off the roof and putting on some new wheels and tires. He noticed that driving it around brought some comic relief to an area that needed a reason to laugh and smile.
