You are bidding on a friend's beautiful 1965 Ford Short Bed Custom Cab Pickup. This has been restored by a true professional, who has been bringing Ford Model T's and Ford Thunderbirds back to "better than new condition" for several decades. Any vehicle he works on comes back flawless. This is his personal truck that he bought in Arizona, where he has a winter home, and brought it back to it's current condition. Being an original Arizona truck, it is a real survivor with never any rust or dents. It has been properly prepped and painted , interior has been totally redone in a contrasting blue. It has a new clutch, brakes, and is powered by a great running 352 V8, with duel exhausts and headers, coupled to the original manuel four speed transmission. Truck is sold with a clear Arizona title, and is currently inspected and registered in the state of New Hampshire at his summer home. This is a extremely rare vehicle in this condition, and will draw a crowd at any automotive event you attend, whether it's a local cruise night or a national gathering. There certainly will not be another there anywhere like it. For questions or futher information you can contact Bill, the owner, at 603-534-1250. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

GM already raising prices on 2014 Silverado and Sierra pickups

Mon, 14 Oct 2013 14:00:00 EST

General Motors must be pretty pleased with sales of its two newest pickups, the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado, as it's announced price hikes for both models, as part of a planned price tweak.
Prices will be bumped by as much as $1,500, although weirdly, they'll be offset by as much as $1,500 in cash-back offers through the end of October. Fox Business reports that GM spokesman Jim Cain said of the price hike, "With the sell down of the '13 models nearly complete, this price adjustment was planned and is a normal part of business."
The move, as Fox is quick to point out, is an interesting one, as sales of the twin pickups struggled last month relative to the Ford F-Series, while both of GM's crosstown competitors have been aggressively undercutting Silverado and Sierra prices. The F-150 starts at $24,070 and the Ram 1500 comes in at $23,600, not counting any cash on the hood. A base Silverado, meanwhile, retails at $25,575.

Ford GT40 makes historic return to racing at Goodwood

Wed, 23 Oct 2013 19:00:00 EST

Is there a more iconic, American racecar than the Ford GT40? That may be a discussion for another day (although by all means, tell us how wrong we are in Comments), but this video of heaps of GT40s running in the Goodwood Revival races certainly has us thinking that Ford's Ferrari-killer might just be the best racer the Land Of The Free and Home Of The Brave has ever come up with.
That's completely ignoring the fact that the GT40 was largely developed by Brits using American money, but that's besides the point (there was also a rather brash Texan, who had a big role later in development). The resulting vehicle was dominant, besting the cars of Il Commendatore from 1966 to 1969, although it should be noted that Ford's GT40 was unable to beat Ferrari in its first two Le Mans outings in 1964 and 1965.
Those four years of dominance, which started with Ford sweeping the podium, were enough to establish the GT40's legend. And now, here we are almost 50 years later, celebrating the mid-engined monsters at Goodwood, in their first ever one-make race. Take a look below for the entire video.

2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost flogged and analyzed by Ignition

Mon, 13 Oct 2014 19:59:00 EST

Aside from the way it looks and perhaps its independent rear suspension, the biggest bit of news on the 2015 Mustang may be the inclusion of its 2.3-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine. That blown mill marks the first time since the Mustang SVO of the '80s that a turbo has been fitted under the engine of Ford's pony car.
The Mustang EcoBoost is the subject of the latest episode of Ignition from Motor Trend, giving us a great look at the technical, nitty-gritty side of the turbocharged coupe. Covering it from bow to stern, host Carlos Lago walks us through the boosted Ford before taking to the track for some driving impressions, with particular praise given to the low-end grunt of the 2.3-liter mill.
Check out the full video and then let us know which 2015 Mustang has your interest piqued the most - the EcoBoost four, the 5.0L V8 or the entry-level V6.
