 Up for auction is a 1964 Ford F100 Long bed 2wd, V8

Ive owned this truck for 2 years, thought I was going to cruise around and drive it but never had the time. The guy I bought it from drove it daily still has some hay in the bed from where he hauled hay in it.
It is maroon and gold with metallic flake in the maroon paint. It is different and looks good
Its a good looking truck but not perfect. Has been painted a few years ago, paint still shines but has a few dings, dents and scratches here and there. I'm sure it has some body filler in it and has some bubbling at the top of the cab. The bed has some rust holes in the floor but could be cut out and would look nice with some wood in the floor. The truck does need a tail-gate. It has a hole in the passenger side floor but the step boards look great

The engine runs great and trans is good. I was told by the original owner that it had a 292 rebuilt engine. It does have a 3 speed on the column and works great. I'm not sure if its the original motor. It runs great and will not smoke but for some reason it has some blow by. The engine has an appearance of being rebuilt from no signs of overspray on anything, the gaskets don't look very old and does not smoke?  It is a very dependable truck though, it has sit outside all winter and I just started it up a few moments ago and ran good with no problems. I don't take the battery cables off either and still fired right up.

Before you bid, this truck is not perfect but would be great to take to a few shows and cruise around in. Or even drive daily. It could be driven to your home but I would recommend hauling it. Do expect it to have a few scratches and chips and dents that is hard to capture in pictures.
Does need tires as well

Sold AS-IS where is with no warranty.  If there is something that I left out that you didn't ask then I am not responsible.

The winning bidder is to send a $500.00 deposit through paypal within 24hrs of auction close that is non-refundable and you will have 15 days to pick the truck up
If you have any questions please feel free to message me
No reserve
Happy Bidding!

2015 Ford F-150 to get 2.7-liter EcoBoost?

Mon, 30 Dec 2013

As we prepare for the arrival of the all-new, next-generation Ford F-150, rumors about the new truck are picking up steam. Naturally, many of said rumors aren't just related to the way the truck will look (it's expected to take design cues from the Atlas concept shown above), they're tied to what's going to motivate the Blue Oval mainstay, with Ford's EcoBoost range likely to play an increasingly key role. While we're still expecting the current 3.5-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 to retain its position as a premium alternative to Ford's naturally aspirated V6 and V8, a Canadian automotive news site is proposing that the Dearborn automaker is also preparing a new, more fuel-efficient downsized EcoBoost option.
Autos.ca is reporting that a new, 2.7-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 could find its way into the lighter, aluminum-intensive truck. The new engine supposedly makes use of asymmetrical turbos to generate 320 horsepower and 370 pound-feet of torque - substantially more impressive numbers than the current 3.7-liter base engine's 302 ponies and 278 lb-ft - while offering improved fuel economy and emissions. The new 2.7 EcoBoost (internally dubbed "Nano") isn't expected to supplant the naturally aspirated V6 as the F-150's base engine, it's expected to slot in above directly it.
Naturally, we're prescribing more than a few grains of salt to go with these rumors, at least until Ford debuts the next F-150 at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, a reveal we'll be covering in a mere two weeks.

Ken Block ain't got a care about ruining his wheels

Tue, 22 Jan 2013

During a drifting session at Irwindale Speedway in California, Ken Block made a boo-boo that would send a number of drivers immediately back to the infield. But there's an answer to "What do you do when you bash the wall while drifting and your wheel explodes?" and there's completely different answer when the question begins with the phrase, "When you're Ken Block..."
Instead of us telling you how Block handled the calamity in his Ford Fiesta competition car, you can watch it happen in the video below. You can probably also guess what it is - but it's more fun to watch.

Ford brings FPV Falcon production in house [w/video]

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

For the first time since 1976, Ford of Australia is bringing the assembly of its stonking Ford Performance Vehicle line back in-house to the company's Broadmeadows and Geelong facilities. That's a point of pride for FPV, which builds high-performance versions of the Australian Falcon model like the F6, GS and the heroic GT seen here.
In the video below, we hear FPV employees talking in hushed tones about the important legacy that cars like the GT have for Australian gearheads of all stripes, and how proud they are to say that hand-built machines like this GT R-Spec with its Boss 355 engine are now rolling out of their home base. For our part, we're just dying to drive this version of the Coyote V8; the engine is rocking a "Miami" supercharger from Harrop and makes some 450 horsepower.
Continue on below for the video, or you can check out some images of the new FPV at the facility, as well as a gallery of the GT R-Spec car.
