Here is a 2001 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer with 3 rows of leather seats, and all the goodies including dual climate control, rear T.V dvd and vhs video, as you can see this SUV looks very nice and has had a pretty good up keep from what i can see, please keep in mind it is a used car and there is some wear and tear for the year but nothing that will effect the safety or integrity of the car. Mechanically you can’t fault the car as it runs and drives like a dream with no known mechanical issues, with 0 leaks on around or under the car anywhere the trans shifts perfect and the 4x4 functions as it should & the tires are like new as are the brakes and exhaust it really feels and looks like a beauty going down the road. The ac is cold and all the options work fine. it also has a factory class 3 tow hitch. The body is in very good condition with no dents, dings or ugly marks, and very nice original paint with a high gloss this one looks great from any angle for its age. Toyota, Ford and Honda again top Consumer Reports Car-Brand Perception Survey
Fri, 01 Feb 2013Consumer Reports has released its annual Car-Brand Perception Survey, and the list looks awfully familiar. The top six brands are identical to last year's results, with Toyota, Ford and Honda continuing to occupy the podium. All told, Toyota walked away with 133 points, putting it 15 ahead of second-place Ford. Honda jumped 26 points this year, narrowing Ford's lead to just four points in total.
Consumer Reports polls buyers from across the country on how they see multiple brands in seven categories, including quality, safety, value, performance, design/style, technology/innovation and environmentally friendly/green. Researchers then combine the findings to come up with the total brand score.
While value and performance remain important to buyers, CR found quality and safety are still on top when it comes to significance. Scion and Mitsubishi found themselves at the bottom of the pack with the worst score of all, tied at just six points. Ram, Fiat and Mini filled out the lowest five with scores of seven, eight and 10 points, respectively. China takes lead as GM's No. 1 market
Tue, 09 Jul 2013It's happened. General Motors' biggest vehicle market - at least in terms of new model sales - is China. According to TheDetroitBureau.com, GM and its various Chinese joint venture operations enjoyed a 10.6-percent sales increase in the first half of 2013, selling almost 1.6 million units in the market. That puts GM China about 200,000 units ahead of its US sales totals over the same period - this, despite indicators that the communist nation's economy is losing momentum.
TDB notes that like GM, rival Ford has also enjoyed a robust 2013 in China thus far, with its sales up a whopping 47 percent to 407,721 units sold - 75,254 of them in June alone. Between the two US automakers, passenger car sales for the first half of 2013 are up around 14 percent, well ahead of the rest of the industry's 10-percent growth estimates for the market. Some of the sales growth may come as a result of an overall anti-Japan sentiment in China, though the American brands have long outsold their Japanese counterparts in the country.
By The General's own predictions, China will only continue to grow in sales importance. The company has designs on selling over five million cars a year in the market before the end of the decade, a total that figures to dramatically widen the gap versus its US totals - even if America's auto market makes a full recovery to the the salad days of over 17-million units a year.
Ford Fiesta ST in startling track battle against Toyota GT86
