I have a 2 owner 1997 ford escort with almost 99K original miles for sale, the exterior is "mocha frost"(tan) and the interior is tan as well. I bought this from my grandma with 40K miles in may of 2006 and have been DD it ever since. All scheduled maintenance and runs great. Here are the pros and cons.

Pros:
Original paint with NO clear coat problems
Pioneer Aftermarket Deck with Ipod hookup and is XM radio ready
Pioneer Aftermarket door speakers
Weather tech all weather floor mats
5% tint on all widows except windshield(no peeling)
chrome hubcaps
Around 50% tread left on all season tires
no rips or tears anywhere on seats or door panels and only minimal stains on carpet
K&N air filter
recent spark plug change
Aftermarket muffler
I have factory radio, door speakers and hubcaps
Keyless entry that works

Cons:
It has hail damage from a storm in 2009 that i didnt have repaired b/c i didnt want to repaint the car(no windows were broken)
A couple exterior dings and dents that i tried to get in the pics
I believe it has a very slow leak from the transmission pan that i didnt get around to changing.
All factory suspension so that could use an upgrade

other than that, its a very solid car.

Ford ST Octane Academy [w/video]

The ST school is about more than just handbrake turns, hot laps, and sliding into parking spaces.
I felt like such a rock star. On my second pass around the UrbanCross course (read: fancy autocross) at the Ford ST Octane Academy, I absolutely nailed the exit, sliding the bright-yellow Focus ST sideways into a box the size of a parking space, all four wheels in line.

Ford to add more than 2,000 jobs in Kansas City

Continued high demand for the Ford F-150, along with the addition of the all-new Transit series of commercial vehicles, has led Ford to announce that it will add over 2,000 jobs at its Kansas City Assembly Plant. At the time of the announcement, the plant boasts 2,450 hourly employees working on two shifts. All told, Ford will invest $1.1 billion in the Kansas City plant to expand truck production and begin producing the Transit series.
According to the automaker, fullsize truck sales are up 19 percent through April of 2013, leading to an additional 900 workers and a third shift of production for the F-150. Production of the Transit series will begin in the fourth quarter of this year, requiring an additional 1,100 workers. In addition, Ford estimates that a total of 18,000 jobs will be created by suppliers to its Kansas City plant to support the additional vehicle production.

More 2015 Ford Mustang pricing information leaks [UPDATE]

The big news this morning was that the 2015 Ford Mustang would start at $24,425, including its destination pricing. The big news this afternoon is, well, bigger.
Mustang6G.com has come up with what it claims is pricing info for the entire Mustang line, rather than just the V6. That means we know all about the EcoBoost and GT prices now, which, when combined with the dealer order sheets we reported on last week, gives us our clearest look yet at how the Mustang can be outfitted (we're still a bit short on pricing info for some standalone options, like paint premiums and such).
The base EcoBoost starts at $25,995, while the GT rings up at $32,925.
