Up for auction is is a 2008 Ford E450 Limobus built by Krystal Koach. This bus was involved in an accident and we offering it for sale to someone willing to rebuild it.
We purchased this vehicle from another local limousine service in June of 2012. In February of 2013 the bus was rearended & pushed into another vehicle. We purchased most of the parts to rebuild the vehicle while we waited for the insurance company to settle the claim. The insurance company claimed the bus to be a total loss (we have a rebuildable title), so we decided to sell the bus and the parts instead of fixing it. Included in this auction is a brand new grill, 2 brand new header panels and a brand new hood all of which were purchased directly from Ford. We also purchased a front bumper which was a take off from a bus, so it is also new. We also found a company in California that purchased most of Krystal Koach's inventory and we purchased the rear bumper from them.
Before the accident the vehicle was in great shape & it still runs perfect, but it may need a few new tires. The bus has all of the typical amenities that you would expect from a Krystal Koach limobus. Including, 2 TV's, AM/FM Stereo with CD player and Ipod hookup, DVD player, neon lighting, divider, etc.
We have taken various pictures to try and show as much of the damage as possible.

Ford Transit Skyliner Concept is a Gulfstream for the road
Sat, 12 Apr 2014If you are afraid to fly or just want to arrive at your ultimate destination in absolute comfort, then the Ford Transit Skyliner concept might be the perfect vehicle for you. Built by Galpin Auto Sports and based on a 2015 Transit, the van is basically a private jet on wheels. It even has a touch of Transformers about it with the ability to switch between four modes by pressing a button in a smartphone app.
Based on the long wheelbase, high-roof model with 487 cubic feet of cargo space and 6 feet, 9.5 inches of interior height, the Skyliner has movable captains chairs that shift around among four modes. In theater mode, the seats turn and recline to face a 52-inch retractable movie screen with 7.2 surround sound. For business, a motorized table unfolds, and the chairs gather around it. There is a mode for tailgating where the door opens four-feet wide, and, when traveling, passengers can recline back with footrests that extend for maximum comfort.
To make the ride even plusher, there is a satellite and media server to meet your entertainment needs, and there is even a built-in bar in the back. If this Ford had a bathroom, you could live in it. Of course, you would need to hire a driver to enjoy all the amenities in the back.

What next for Alan Mulally?
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Alan Mulally has emerged as a hero when it comes to American manufacturing. He came to Ford in 2006 after serving as head of Boeing's commercial aircraft division, streamlined operations, sold off the costly elements of its Premier Automotive Group and saved Ford from having to be bailed out by the federal government like its cross-town rivals Chrysler and General Motors did. But as we reported mere days ago, he's widely expected to step down from the chief executive's office at Ford shortly.
So what's next for one of the most successful executives in the business? Hard to say, but don't expect Mulally to disappear into retirement. Though he didn't ultimately take the top job at Microsoft, industry insiders expect to see him in another influential position - likely as a board director or even chairman of another company. (We say "another company" and not Ford because while Bill Ford may have stepped aside as CEO to bring Mulally on board in the first place, we don't see him giving up his chairmanship of the board also.)
Mulally has likely already lined up his next move, and could either announce what that move will be as soon as Ford confirms Mark Fields as his successor, or could wait awhile. Insiders speculate that he could leverage his transportation and aerospace experience into a position at General Electric or a major airline, his manufacturing expertise to benefit a company like Procter & Gamble or his management skills at a consultancy firm.
