2006 Ford Econoline XLT Passenger Van - No Reserve!
Vin#: 1FMRE11LX6HB36813 CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE! This Ford runs and drives great. It's great for a large family, day care, company, church, etc. Please call me directly with any questions: James (801) 240-9138 or (801) 375-2357 (weekends). Or you can email me through eBay.
This van is VERY clean inside and out. We bought this vehicle last year in anticipation of our seventh child being born. We bought it to replace our Suburban. Unfortunately, even though there is enough room for all our kids, there is not enough room for all our luggage when we travel. We just bought our fourth vehicle--a 14-passenger van. So this one has to go. The pictures will speak for themselves. The nicest thing about this van is the benches have been taken out and replaced with captain's chairs. There is plenty of space for each occupant. These conversions costs thousands of dollars, and the two-tone seats are comfortable and they look good! There are some very normal wear and tear type things (see photos). There are a couple spots on the carpet, two very small tears where the recliner buttons are, a scratch on the back, and some paint chipping on the roof. The passenger armrest is loose. The biggest issue (in my opinion) is that a small rock chip on the windshield has spread out on either side. It's low down, and doesn't interfere with the vision at all, so I never got it fixed. (It passed UT inspection because it is so low down. Please feel free to have this vehicle inspected. It is VERY clean inside and out. The tires are BRAND NEW (less than 1,000 miles). Same with the brakes and rotors. Also, I am willing to sell you the remaining extended warranty for $1,000. It is bumper-to-bumper. If the van sells at a high enough price, I will transfer the warranty at no cost! Finally, this van is also being sold locally. I will end the auction early if the van sells.

Ford reflects on radical Mustang concept that never reached showrooms
Tue, 25 Jun 2013The Ford Mustang that we all know and love made major waves in the auto industry way back in 1964 by offering style and reasonable pricing with optional V8 power. Its long hood and short rear deck, combined with a low-slung and sporty cockpit, made a lasting impression in the minds of consumers and car designers alike, and its basic shape has so endured the test of time that it's still in use today.
This being the case, you may be interested to know that the first Mustang of 1964.5 wasn't actually the first Mustang at all, being preceded by a concept car that made its public debut in 1962. This concept was nothing like the car that would eventually make it into production, with a radical wedge shape and a small V4 engine sitting behind the car's two occupants, driving the rear wheels. In other words, the conceptual Mustang was pretty much the complete opposite of the production Mustang besides the name.
Ford has kindly decided go through its massive archive to bring the original Mustang concept back into the public eye. The company goes so far as to pose this question to fans of the pony car: "Should we borrow a few of these style elements for the next iteration of the Mustang?" Check out our image gallery above and then let 'em know what you think in the Comments below.
Ford and GM link bonus checks to quality scores
Tue, 29 Apr 2014The poor first quarter earnings of Ford and General Motors are having an effect all the way up the food chain. Both automakers struggled with recalls in the first three months of the year, and, according to The Detroit News, they have responded by increasing the percentage of bonuses tied to vehicle quality for salaried workers, including top executives.
GM announced that 25 percent of bonuses (up from 10 percent) for all salaried workers would be tied to its vehicle quality standards. The automaker revealed in its financial report that it spent $1.3 billion on recall-related repairs in the first quarter, and net income was down 86 percent.
Ford also increased the quality proportion of bonuses for about 26,000 salaried workers all the way up to CEO Alan Mulally from 10 percent to 20 percent. The company announced in its report that the amount paid out in warranty and recall claims was about $400 million higher than expected in the first quarter. Its net income fell 39 percent from the previous year. "The change reflects how critical quality is to our overall business," said spokesperson Todd Nissen speaking to Autoblog.
2015 Ford Mustang leaked in Autoweek
Tue, 03 Dec 2013We would have to imagine that Ford knew it couldn't keep its 2015 Mustang under wraps for too long, and with only days to go before the pony car's official unveiling, the dam seems to be cracking. SVTPerformance.com member Screamin 40th just posted some images taken of the sixth-gen Mustang prominently featured in and on the cover of the December 9 issue of Autoweek magazine.
These images show that recent renderings we saw weren't too far off. The face is just like what we saw in spy shots a few months back, but the rear of the car features some of its more striking cues. Starting with the pronounced haunches and hidden B-pillars, the rear view of the new Mustang might be its best with the ridged, three-bar taillights, a rear diffuser and the lack of a faux gas cap, which allows the galloping pony to be an even more prominent element against the black trim.
The images also reveal a small portion of the updated interior carrying over retro themes like the deep-dish steering wheel and dual-gauge instrument cluster, but it also adds some modern tech with a big infotainment displays and a clean center stack layout. No official word on powertrain or other specs, but while we can't make out most of the magazine's text, our eyes did catch mentions of an independent rear suspension and a 200-pound weight reduction.
