Thanks for taking a look at our auction listing for this pristine 1982 Ford Club Wagon XLT 11 Passenger-Van! This van was locally owned and garage kept through out it's entire life and was originally purchased at our McCrackin Ford dealership here in Pittsburgh way back in 1982!
The mileage is a mere 71,339 and when you take a look at the multiple photos we have posted for this auction you will see how well it shows! There is NO RUST on this Van (take a look at the body mount pictures) and the factory paint is super shiny and in fantastic condition.
The front and rear chrome bumpers (rear is a step bumper with a heavy duty hitch) are like new and the tires all the way around are in almost new condition! Also this van has a trailer braking system installed.
The interior is like new (see photos) and there is an AM FM Stereo with Cassette. The factory installed A/C blows ice cold... there is factory Cruise Control... a super smooth shifting Automatic Transmission... plus more!
Also this van is powered by a 460 V-8 Engine that runs like new and has plenty of power to pull a camper... haul your Church Group or Boy Scout Troop or haul all of your Bands Equipment and Band Members while your on tour!
Our in house Service Dept has gone over this vehicle and she has a brand new PA Inspection Sticker on the drivers side windscreen!
Give us a call at 724-452-5580 for more detailed info or email us at mccrackinmotorsports@gmail.com

Is Tesla's next project an F-150 competitor? [w/poll]
Wed, 13 Nov 2013What's the future look like for Tesla after it launches the Model X CUV and possibly a smaller, sub-Model S sedan? Would you believe a pickup truck? Yes, Tesla could be looking to use its EV know-how to take the fight to Ford and the F-150, based on comments made by company founder Elon Musk.
"If you're trying to replace the most gasoline miles driven, you have to look at what people are buying," Musk said during an impromptu Q&A session following a speech at Business Insider's Ignition conference. "[The F-150 is] the best selling car in America. If people are voting that's their car, then that's the car we have to deliver."
And while the idea of electric pickup may sound kind of absurd to some, Musk makes a very valid point - if Tesla's goal is to replace gas miles with electrical miles, it simply can't afford to ignore pickups.
Ford dealers offered discounts on tools to fix aluminum
Mon, 27 Jan 2014With the introduction of the aluminum-bodied 2015 Ford F-150 (and the likely use of aluminum in future Ford products), Ford is looking to help its dealerships reduce costs related to repairing this more labor-intensive material. Automotive News is reporting that Ford dealers with body shops will require an estimated $30,000 to $50,000 in equipment and training to work on aluminum, and to help alleviate the financial burden of the new F-150, Ford has announced a special 20-percent discount on this equipment.
Dealers will be able to save up to $10,000 on tools such as welders, air-filtration systems and rivet guns and to create aluminum-specific work stations. The new F-150 goes on sale in the fourth quarter, and dealers have until October 31 to take advantage of this deal, according to the report.
Ford bringing 10 custom Transit Connects to SEMA
Tue, 29 Oct 2013With 57 vehicles planned for its SEMA display, it comes as little surprise that Ford has plenty of teasers for its show cars. After showing us what it has in store for the Mustang, Fiesta and Focus ST, now we're getting a look at some of the custom creations based on the redesigned 2014 Transit Connect van.
These nine Transit Connects are decked out to various degrees of customization, but our favorite might be the chopped and lowered Transit Connect from Mob Steel (shown above), which has a similar slammed stance that we see on some custom VW Buses. On the opposite extreme, LGE & CTS Motorsports has jacked up a Transit Connect to make a Cross Country cruiser that we wouldn't mind taking on a road trip.
There are seven other teasers from various companies, and you can check them all out in the gallery above or in the press release below. Ford is also promising a tenth Transit Connect for SEMA, so stay tuned for that as well.
