PRIOR TO BEING TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE, IT WAS USED AS A FRONT LINE K9 PATROL VEHICLE. IT HAS 105,725 MILES ON IT SO IT HAS LOTS OF LIFE/SERVICE LEFT IN IT. THESE VEHICLES ARE WELL KNOWN TO GO 200,000 MILES WITHOUT MISSING A BEAT. Nearly every flavor of exotic driveline has been shoved into the ubiquitous Ford at some point or another.

I'm not too big of a man to know when to ask for help, and at this point, I desperately needed some assistance. There are many things I could call this exercise. A party is not one of them.
I've spent three days crammed in the axle well of this 1989 Mustang with nothing to keep me company beyond a trouble light, a DeWalt drill on the very last of its legs and billion razor sharp, red hot slivers of metal with an affinity for my most sensitive of regions. My joints are raw from crawling around on the concrete. I'm half deaf from the shriek of the spot weld cutter and the boom of the cold chisel and hammer.
James Franco and tiger tease Ford Super Bowl commercial
Sat, 01 Feb 2014Ford has just released a teaser for its Super Bowl ad, and unlike just about every other automaker, it seems that the Blue Oval is going to make us wait until Sunday to see the full spot. The teaser is, um, strange.
It stars James Franco, who believes he is Ron Riggle, the comedian, Fox NFL Sunday host and retired Marine lieutenant colonel. There's also a tiger. The vague spot has Franco claiming that "this is no ordinary commercial." You'll note on the bottom right, there's a Ford logo and the hashtag #nearlydouble.
According to Automotive News, it's part of a massive viral effort being pushed forward by Ford and its dealerships. Ford sent different teasers and "vignettes" to dealership employees and asked them to share them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, in the hopes of creating a viral effect.
