for sale is a 2007 crown victoria police interceptor v8 4.6L. mechanically this car is in excellent condition, the engine is very powerful and the trans shifts with no issues at all, you cant here the engine while its in idel thats how smooth it runs. the shocks and springs are in good condition too you dont really feel bumps. i feel like i have to say it again because this car runs very very well. the body has 278k on it and the engine and trans have around 100k the engine and trans were taken out of a 2008 Vic, i have no proof of this but you can tell when you drive it. as for the exterior of the car it was a police car and a taxi so it was painted a few times (cheap paint) its black and white but theres 3 small spots on the roof where you can see yellow and on the inside of the car the dash has holes drilled in it from their equipment. the front seats are cloth and the back seat is leather. this is not the best looking car in the world but it diffenitly runs like one. the front tires have about 75-80% life left and the back have about 65-75%. the trunk on this car is HUGE!!! issues: sometimes the lights on the dash go out (for like 2-3 minutes) then come back on. THATS IT!! again this car is in very good condition.

2016 Ford Explorer revealed with new 2.3-liter EcoBoost
Wed, 19 Nov 2014
A 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder takes over where the old 2.0 left off, making 270 hp and 300 lb-ft.
Right now, around 23 percent of all Ford vehicles sold in the United States is a utility vehicle. By 2020, Ford expects that figure to increase all the way to 29 percent. Put simply, SUVs and crossovers are very big business at Ford. So, when it comes time to update the Explorer, Ford's original sport utility vehicle, you can be sure that a whole heck of a lot of effort goes into the process.
Ken Block and friends race light in silly-beautiful Castrol commercial
Wed, 28 May 2014How does one make fast, loud, drifting cars better? Well, you can add more fast, loud, drifting cars or you can add lasers. Either or, really. In this case, Castrol did the right thing and added both, creating a highly stylized commercial for its Edge Titanium motor oil starring South African racer Adrian Zaugg, BMW factory driver Augusto Farfus, Audi DTM and Le Mans staple Mike Rockenfeller and some bloke named Ken Block.
Their cars? No surprise, but Block is in his Ford Fiesta GRC, while Zaugg samples a Lamborghini Aventador and Farfus and Rockenfeller drive along party lines, with a BMW M4 and an Audi R8, respectively. And those cars look good, too, thanks to the creative light and laser work on display.
Take a look below for the video from Castrol.
Experts wonder if aluminum F-150 gives Ford a real advantage
Mon, 17 Mar 2014There's no doubt that Ford is taking a risk in producing the body of its upcoming new F-150 pickup truck in aluminum. What is up for debate, however, is whether aluminum was a wise risk to take in the first place. Wards Auto took the opportunity to poll some experts on the subject of aluminum versus steel in the automotive sector, with somewhat unsurprising results.
Richard Schultz, a project consultant at Ducker Worldwide, which bills itself as "a leading aluminum industry consultant (though they also deal in steels), suggests that the potential drawbacks to aluminum - higher costs, lower supply - aren't really impediments to the auto industry's increased acceptance of the lightweight metal.
Similarly, Randall Scheps, global automotive marketing director for Alcoa, a massive aluminum producer, counters claims that aluminum is less safe for vehicle occupants, suggesting that the use of aluminum can actually increase safety as it could potentially allow for larger vehicles with more crush space than steel.
