Year:1988 Mileage:34800
Location:

Hurst, Texas, United States

Hurst, Texas, United States

This is a "NO RESERVE AUCTION" if you are the high bidder at end of auction, then you are the new owner, please take this into consideration when bidding, thank you

This is a 1988 Ford Bronco with 34,800 actual miles, the truck runs great, it has a 302 engine, automatic transmission, with electronic assist four wheel drive, truck also has power windows, power door locks, and aftermarket radio. Tires are in great shape, it has dual exhaust and factory headers.  This truck has been garage kept for a lot of it's life and it shows, it is a Texas/Louisiana truck and has no rust anywhere. The seats, headliner, and door panels have all been replaced, this, along with the radio are all that has been updated on the truck, other than this, the truck is as it came out of the factory. I hope that I have described everything clearly, but if you have any questions, please call number listed below for clearer answer.

I am selling this truck for a friend, if you have questions, please call (817) 223-5153 please be considerate, no calls after 9:00 pm Central Time.

I am not a dealer, however, we do have this truck up for sale locally, therefore, I reserve the right to end this auction at any time, (not too likely, but have to state this)

The truck is in great condition, but it is not a museum piece, there are a few cosmetic flaws, hood has recently been professionally reapainted, carpet has some staining in the very back near dropdown door, carpet is original to the truck. (truck is 26 years old) but I believe that you will agree that these are very minor when you see the truck.

I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere, if you are high bidder, we can pick you up at DFW airport if needed, (Love Field will cost some gas to pick you up). I will not ship this truck, but will hold it for up to 10 days if paid for in advance, and will support transport driver. Please don't waste my time with scams, I've seen them all before.

   Good luck and happy bidding!

Ford gives police chiefs tech to surveil officers in their own cars

Tue, 28 Oct 2014

Police officers certainly have a difficult job in keeping the streets safe, but as public employees in positions of authority, there is still a very real need for oversight. To that end, Ford is partnering with a tech company to offer a new system called Ford Telematics for Law Enforcement on its line of Police Interceptor patrol vehicles that could make cops safer, while giving cities a better idea of what its officers are doing.
The system streams live data about cruisers back to the home base to people like the police chief or shift supervisor. That info includes expected things like speed, location and cornering acceleration, but it gets incredibly granular as well, with records of things like if emergency lights are on, or even if an officer is wearing a seatbelt.
Ford Telematics for Law Enforcement "ought to protect officers as much as it protects the public," said Ford spokesperson Chris Terry to Autoblog. Constantly monitoring patrol cars offers cities a lot of advantages, too. First, it reduces potential liability because a department can prove where each vehicle is at all times. Also, officers know they are being watched and may potentially drive more safely.

eBay Find of the Day: Mk1 Ford GT40 with interesting history

Sat, 03 May 2014

You might expect a rare Ford GT40 to cross the block at some sort of prestigious auto auction from RM or Gooding, not show up on eBay for over $2 million. However, that's exactly what we have here. The seller claims the car is a late-build Mk1 GT40 from 1969, and it's currently owned by the director of the Hublot watch company in Switzerland.
According to the listing, GT40 #P1108 started life as Mk1 car that was built from factory spares in 1969 and was first sold in 1971. However, the auction is somewhat confusing. According to an image in its gallery, the vehicle was actually built from one of the seven spare Mk3 tubs when production of the iconic racers ended.
This GT40 was never built as a racecar - it lived on the streets its whole life. After assembly finished, it was sent to Germany and was eventually registered for the road. The first owner kept the car until 2005 and sold it with 7,300 miles on the odometer. The current owner bought it in 2012.

First retail 2015 Ford Mustang headed to Barrett-Jackson

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

Want to be the very first person to own a 2015 Ford Mustang GT? Here's what you'll need to do: be in Scottsdale, AZ on January 18 for the Barrett-Jackson auction and bring a very big checkbook. Having a passion for charity isn't a bad idea either.
Yes, the first 2015 Mustang to be sold to the public will be crossing the block at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, with proceeds from the auction going to JDRF, the charity formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
"Ford Mustangs have always been among the most popular collector cars at Barrett-Jackson Collector Car events," said the president of Barrett-Jackson, Steve Davis. "While every collector wishes they had snapped up the first Mustang sold in 1964, this is an opportunity to realize that dream in a different way."
