1996 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer 59k Actual Miles!! on 2040-cars
Billings, Montana, United States
Up for grabs with NO RESERVE this 1996 Eddie Bauer edition Ford Bronco with 59,241 original miles!! This was the last year of the Bronc and my favorite color combination! I love Broncos and have owned a lot of them over the years. This one is a keeper, but I need to free up some cash for an addition we are doing to our house to make room for child #5 on the way!! This Bronco runs and drives great, tires are good and ready to roll. I would have no problem loading my family in this Bronc and taking it across the country! Broncos with low miles in this condition are a rare find, so don't miss out!! The body on this Bronco is RUST FREE and the undercarriage and motor compartment are super clean. Interior is in great shape, no smoke smell, but the dash does have a few small cracks; see pics. The top is in good condition and doesn't appear to have ever been removed. Paint overall is in good condition with the exception of the "stars" in the original paint on the hood and a dime sized chip that has been touched up by driver door; see pics. No body damage to speak of other than minor scratches. Bronco has a clean Autocheck, I purchased it from a gentleman who found it at an estate sale in Colorado where it was purchased new. This rig would make a great driver or collector for any Bronco enthusiast! Please email me with any questions, and I would be happy to text or email additional pictures. I want you love this Bronco as much as I have! Check my feedback I've sold 2 other Broncos from my collection in the past year or so and have 100% positive feedback.

MyFord Touch getting second update, extended warranty
Wed, 28 Nov 2012There is no doubt that Ford has had its hands full fielding complaints with its MyFord Touch and MyLincoln Touch systems these days, but looking to keep its customers happy, Ford is once again upgrading its infotainment systems and extending the warranties. Despite having just sent out updates for its systems back in March, Automotive News says that customers are still complaining about the speed and ease of use.
Vehicles with MyFord Touch will now get a five-year, unlimited-mile warranty, while the MyLincoln Touch will have a six-year, unlimited-mile warranty. Previously, the systems were covered under basic warranties (three-year, 36,000-mile for Ford and four-year, 60,000-miles for Lincoln).
What is being referred to as "version 3.5" for the MyFord Touch and MyLincoln Touch systems will be mailed out (or downloaded) next month for owners of cars without navigation and in January for cars with nav. Owners of hybrids, plug-ins and electric vehicles will get the update sometime in the first quarter of next year.
Ford Escort testing, may be bound for Europe
Tue, 01 Apr 2014There has been little news about Ford's China-focused Escort concept since debuting at last year's Shanghai Motor Show, but the no-frills sedan has shown its camouflaged face again during cold weather testing in Northern Sweden. While far from a guarantee, the test location might hint that the Blue Oval plans to market the car outside of Asia.
The Escort's black robe and zebra paint make it hard to tell if anything specific has changed about the design, but the shape of the sedan looks close to what was shown in Shanghai. Under the disguise, you can still make out the hexagonal front grille from the concept. When Ford announced the model, the company said that the design wasn't supposed to be "arrogant or pretentious," and it certainly achieved that. The engine range is still a mystery, but it seems safe to expect small, economy-focused powertrains.
A report from last year indicated that Ford may be considering broadening the new Escort beyond Asia and possibly even selling it in Europe. The fact that the company brought it to Sweden for testing could bolster that argument. A release date hasn't been set yet, but the automaker has promised 15 new products for China by 2015. The basic sedan could be on the road soon.
