I have owned this truck for about 4 years now, it has been pretty good to me but it is time to let it go. I don't drive it as much as a I used to, due to the fact that I can walk to work everyday. I intend to move south soon and would like to only transport one vehicle (my car).
Overall the truck is in pretty good shape for a nearly 19 year old vehicle. There is rust forming around the fenders and door jambs, but nothing too severe. ( I took pictures of the trouble areas).
The tailgate would be the worst spot for rust, the back window still works, but is a little slow to go down and up. I have an auction going for a brand new tailgate for this truck that I would be willing to include with an additional $250.00 added to the final price.
4 WD still works great, and has gotten me through a few nasty winters.
I had the truck sitting for a year at one point, it has been a year since its been back on the road, but I wanted to assure the buyer that it has been taken care of since being put back on the road, and the following things were replaced.
-Distributor
-Spark Plugs and Wires
-All new front brakes (rotors and pads)
- New emergency brake
- All new rear brakes (drums and shoes)
- New front brake lines
- New master cylinder
-Flushed and replaced coolant
-Changed oil
- Battery is less than one year old
I would prefer payments made to paypal, but I will accept a check or money order. Title will be sent as soon as payment is cleared.
If the buyer would like the truck to be delivered than he/she must make the arrangements and payments, I am willing to meet up with whomever will be picking it up to deliver.
I also have a soft top for the truck that I would be willing to sell for an additional cost if there is interest.
If you have any questions about the truck please feel free to message me on here and I will get back to you as quickly as possible.
Thanks!

Consumer Reports explains its disdain for infotainment
Thu, 20 Mar 2014One of the perks of reviewing all manner of cars and trucks is that we're exposed to all the different infotainment systems. Whether Cadillac's CUE, Chrysler's UConnect, BMW's iDrive or MyFord Touch, we sample each and every infotainment system on the market.
Not surprisingly, some are better than others. It seems consumers have come to a similar consensus, with Consumer Reports claiming that Ford and Lincoln, Cadillac and Honda offer the worst user infotainment experiences. Not surprisingly, you won't find much argument among the Autoblog staff.
Take a look below to see just what it is about the latest batch of infotainment systems that grinds CR's gears. After that, scroll down into Comments and let us know if you agree with the mag's views.
This Or That: Fiat 500 Abarth vs. Ford Fiesta ST [w/poll]
Thu, 21 Aug 2014
They're pretty darn similar. And yet our views are oh so different.
If you guys could read the transcripts of our editors' chat room, you'd know that we're a pretty argumentative bunch. It's always good-spirited stuff (well, usually), but when we're not obsessively covering this or that, we're usually fighting about one car being better than another. We're all enthusiasts here, and our automotive tastes run the gamut from the weird and unusual to the decidedly mainstream - we all feel strongly about specific cars in a given segment. While it usually makes for good conversation, if we're passionate enough, it can turn into a tomato-throwing showdown.
Nuclear-powered concept cars from the Atomic Age
Thu, 17 Jul 2014In the 1950s and early 60s, the dawn of nuclear power was supposed to lead to a limitless consumer culture, a world of flying cars and autonomous kitchens all powered by clean energy. In Europe, it offered the then-limping continent a cheap, inexhaustible supply of power after years of rationing and infrastructure damage brought on by two World Wars.
The development of nuclear-powered submarines and ships during the 1940s and 50s led car designers to begin conceptualizing atomic vehicles. Fueled by a consistent reaction, these cars would theoretically produce no harmful byproducts and rarely need to refuel. Combining these vehicles with the new interstate system presented amazing potential for American mobility.
But the fantasy soon faded. There were just too many problems with the realities of nuclear power. For starters, the powerplant would be too small to attain a reaction unless the car contained weapons-grade atomic materials. Doing so would mean every fender-bender could result in a minor nuclear holocaust. Additionally, many of the designers assumed a lightweight shielding material or even forcefields would eventually be invented (they still haven't) to protect passengers from harmful radiation. Analyses of the atomic car concept at the time determined that a 50-ton lead barrier would be necessary to prevent exposure.
