Thinning out the herd. 1978 Ford Bronco XLT 400 Automatic 4 wheel drive. This Bronco came from North Carolina. The floor pans are excellant original rust free. This Bronco was profesionally painted at my Body shop with a base coat clear coat finish. The only rust was on the right door tailgate and a little above the left rear wheel well and all were replaced with new panels. Allso replaced were lower race track moulding, bumpers, grille and grille shell. Rear window motor and regulator as well as wiring harness and works as it should. The inside was refinished as well. A new dash pad door panels as well as an all new custom interior and all new weatherstrips. The factory roll bar was powder coated an reinstalled.The front factory push bar was allso powder coated but i elected not to put it back on, but comes with the sale. This vehicle runs excellant and shifts as it should. The ac is all there but will need some work to get it going. I installed new brakes. It has Mickey Thompson wheels that are in good condition. The tires have good tread left to them but the side walls do have some small cracking. The engine compartment needs detailing as well as the under side. I dont believe you will find one any nicer. The wait is finally over. After months of spy shots, rumor and innuendo, Ford has officially pulled the wraps off its new Shelby GT350. Judging by the spec sheet and the promises being made - especially that the Shelby GT350 will be "an all-day track car that's also street legal" - the wait appears to have been worth it.
Aussie Ford Falcon GT shows its rear end to Lamborghini Gallardo
Sun, 27 Apr 2014When Ford Australia announces, as it did recently, that it wants to celebrate the end of its Ford Performance Vehicle division with a Falcon FPV GT-F that celebrates big-bore origins of the nameplate, it's talking about the kind of car in this video.
At some point the classic Falcon GT - said to be an XY series - was invited to a test of acceleration against a Lamborghini Gallardo. At the very least, the Falcon GT had a 351 cubic-inch motor and 300 horsepower, but whatever this guy's got under the hood of his yellow sedan makes has him so confident that he doesn't even move his elbow from its resting place on the door.

Ford EcoBoost smashes records at Daytona
Thu, 10 Oct 2013Some mighty machines have lapped the banks of the Daytona International Speedway over the years: thunderous V8-powered stock cars, Le Mans-conquering Group C prototypes, open-wheel Champ Cars, knee-dragging superbikes... heck, the infield lake has even hosted powerboat racing. But this - this is the fastest car ever to lap the legendary raceway.
What you're looking at is the new Daytona Prototype being prepared by Riley Technologies for the new United SportsCar Championship. The car, released just last week, is powered by a new 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 from Ford's EcoBoost family, and just obliterated the top speed at the track with a blistering 222.971 miles per hour through the traps.
That's enough to annihilate the previous record that was set, also under Ford power, by Bill Elliott while placing his Thunderbird on pole for the 1987 Daytona 500 that he would go on to win. His 210.364 mph record had stood for 26 years until now.
