listing this car for a friend who wants to sell this vehicle, he is the second owner of this car. I’m
very meticulous when selling on Ebay so I will point in detail every defect this
car has. Car
was purchased new in San Diego, California. Car
has been serviced regularly but major service is recommended due to TIME, not due
to mileage. My
friend is selling all his cars because of he is moving out of the country, so in this
case the new owner has to take care of the next major service. It runs from
3,5k to 7,5k depending where is it done. -Runs
beautifully and has no problems. -it
is completely stock with no modifications. -Has
never been abused or in a race track. -Has
never been in any accidents.
Engine:
Starts
instantaneously, idles perfectly, no noises, no leaks, fresh oil and air
filters. No fault codes. Oil
changed every 2000 miles. Engine Variators has been upgraded as per campaign.
Transmission
and clutch: Six
speed transmission shifts excellent, synchros are perfect. Clutch,
trust bearing and fluid have been replaced at aprox. 8,000 miles under warranty
because of a manufacturer’s defect that caused slipping. No more clutch issues
after that fix.
Body: No
accidents or any repair done. Doors open and close perfectly. There
is one small ding in right rear panel and two small dings in passenger’s door that
can be easily removed with paintless dent removal. All
glass in excellent shape.
Paint: Original
black (Nero) paint shines like day one and has never been repainted. There
are a few road paint chips in the front bumper; you can see them in the
pictures. There
is a light scratch on the rear bumper’s left side. See pic.
Interior: Leather
seats are in excellent shape with very little signs of wear. Headliner is in perfect
shape. Door panels in excellent shape, brushed aluminum trims around the door
panels show slight rub marks from getting in and out of the car (could not get
them to show in the pics). Absolutely NO sticky parts in this car. Dashboard is
in perfect shape except a small wrinkle by the windshield in the passenger’s
side, but leather is in pristine condition. Center console is in excellent
condition. Sun visors are in excellent
shape. Carpeting is in excellent shape. Mats with the Ferrari logo are included.
Undercarriage:
Very
good shape overall, a few scratches in the lower front by the skid pads and for
getting in and out of parking garages and in the rear by the lower part of the
diffuser for the same reason. These defects are perfectly normal in this cars
but nobody state them when selling. Steering

perfectly in normal and sport modes. Car handles as it should. Steering is firm
and precise.

tires are almost new with plenty of thread.

Is the $1.4M LaFerrari sold out?
Mon, 09 Dec 2013If you look at the stratospheric sticker prices on the latest generation of hypercars and wonder how an automaker could possibly justify it, bear in mind a few factoids. For one thing, even when the sticker prices start lower, they quickly balloon past the million-dollar mark. For another, automakers charge that much because they can, and don't seem to have much trouble selling them all.
Case in point: the new LaFerrari. While presenting the state-of-the-art supercar on CNBC, Ferrari North America CEO Marco Mattiacci revealed that all 499 examples that will be made of the hybrid hypercar - including those 120 earmarked for North America - have already been spoken for. This despite the $1.4 million asking price that makes it the most expensive Ferrari ever made.
Or the most expensive new Ferrari, we should say, because prices for the most collectable machines ever to roll out the gates at Maranello continue to rise. Figure you'll save a little and get LaFerrari's predecessor? Trading hands these days at prices approaching $2 million (around three times its original $660k MSRP), the Enzo is even more expensive. And that's just the scarlet tip of the iceberg.
Possible Ferrari F70/F150 specs emerge from private showings
Fri, 01 Feb 2013At a private showing in Maranello, a group of lucky souls got to sneak a peek at the upcoming successor to the Ferrari Enzo, which has been referred to as both the F70 and F150 (not that F-150). While we still don't get any name confirmation or a definitive idea (aside from spy shots) as to what the newest Ferrari supercar will look like, one of the attendees did manage to pass along some vital performance information about the car as well as production numbers that are said to be limited to just 499 units.
The report on Auto-Blog.com.mx confirms that the Enzo successor will utilize an 800-horsepower V12 paired with a hybrid KERS good for another 150 hp. The engine's peak power kicks in at a screaming 9,200 rpm, while peak torque (not divulged) will be available at just 1,000 rpm. That kind of power could be great in just about anything, but the report also says that this new Ferrari model will have a dry weight of just 2,799 pounds (about the same as the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S twins and just slightly more than a Mazda MX-5 Miata). Rumored speed times include a top speed of 229 miles per hour, and the ability to run from 0-60 mph in less than three seconds; doubling that speed takes an extra second.
We've already seen the car's carbon fiber chassis and now we're just waiting to see the production car in real life, but Ferrari has not announced when the car will be introduced.
Tax The Rich returns with reckless driving in a Ferrari 288 GTO
Thu, 14 Nov 2013Tax The Rich, the YouTube channel that exists mainly to terrorize ultra-rare, ultra-expensive cars like the Jaguar XJ220, Ferrari Enzo and Rolls-Royce Phantom, has come out with its first video in two months, starring one of the rarest Ferraris of the past 40 years - the 288 GTO.
Now, by Tax The Rich standards, its treatment of the 288 is better than what the Enzo or the Rolls (especially) got in their videos. The most cringe-worthy parts are in the very beginning, before transitioning to actual roads (yes, we know the 288 was originally meant as a Group B rally car, but that makes zipping about on grass and dirt in a very rare Ferrari no less difficult to watch). After that, it's more of the stuff we wish collectors would do with their cars - drive. Seeing and hearing this 288 GTO at full clip is a thing of beauty, and something we wish were a far more regular occurrence.
Take a look below for the latest video from Tax The Rich.
